[She's heard that one and thinks it's funny (she also might have started it). Zatanna prefers attention on her, however. She stops abruptly so he nearly walks into her and turns around to shoot him a look. Come on. :(]

[He manages to sidestep at the last possible second and looks at her face. He raises his eyebrows and finishes the call, and hands up]

Are you having fun?

I would be if I had some company. [She mad.]

[He moves a little closer to her - SNAP - there's a flash of someone taking a photo, wtf, okay whatever - and he looks her in the eye]

You just need to tell me.

[She brings a hand up to her face to rub her eyes for a moment.]

Then consider yourself told. [Looping her arm around his, she gives him a tug. Because clearly, this is the way to reaffirm that he's not the one in charge.] Now, we're going to have fun.

[There's a squeal of somewhere nearby]

What kind of fun were you thinking?

[She ignores it, not connecting that with... her manhandling of him.]

I should make you decide. I'm burned out on deciding fun things. [THANKS, EAMES.] I just want to spend some time with you that doesn't involve me texting you in semi-hysterics or talking about the job.

I've never actually been to a convention before, you know.

You should buy me something overpriced and useless.

Oh, you are just darling -- [She squeezes his arm, grinning.] -- aren't you? As tempting as that is, no. Jerk.

A magic wand? I hear they're selling out everywhere.

That's pretty useless, but I am thinking more along the line of hats. And you have to get a matching one. [She's starting off into the crowd now, walking slow enough so as not to miss a thing.]

Not a top hat.

What kind of hat?

A cool one. Also maybe one that you like. [If he can find one that isn't absolutely hideous.]

[And another perfect opportunity for the fans as Zatanna holds his arm close and leans in to give his shoulder a quick, appreciative nuzzle.] You always do, don't you?

[He doesn't seem bothered as he approaches a booth selling hats]

You don't think I should get a top hat?

[Nailed it. With deft fingers, she takes one by the brim and spins it around before placing it upon his head without hesitation.]

You should, yes.

[Cameras go off, snap snap snap, and it looks pretty good on him]

People will mistake me for a magician.

Is there something wrong with that? [It matches his suit. :3]

[He shrugs]

No.

[She tips it forward but keeps her hands on his shoulders.]
