[He scoffs a little, and then gives the throng heading through the halls between panels a look. He tried one of those, Friday... That went poorly, and he shan't do it again the rest of the convention.]

Still, there are enough of the real thing here-- and those who are... fans, apparently, of our exploits. Complicates matters with those who don't know their futures -- or those we don't want to know their future, either.

[At least none of the idiots had come up to him to ask about certain subjects while Bellatrix was right there; or he'd really been screwed.]

Immensely. My private life, something for discussion and debate? My secrets, the stuff of fiction, speculation? It's nauseating what some of the people get up to, really. There was nearly a brawl when some idiot asked me -- asked me -- if I'd been sexually involved with my students at any point in my career.

Thankfully, I had to keep another one of ours in line, so I wasn't allowed to hex him till he was a sack of jellied organs, or I might've done just that.

[There's a lot about the whole fandom aspect that's not very likable for Snape, really.]

Some of them aren't so bad, though. The ones like religious supplicants - who jus want to be near you, see you. They're tolerable. The ones who think they know you, those I'd like to throttle.

I know what you mean though. Luckily, I don't have that problem myself, but people certainly have made up their minds about demons. Imagine the religious types and how they react to me. Still- I think that'd be a more amusing scenario when compared to yours.

Wanting to throttle or otherwise harm imbeciles rarely endears me to anyone. I'll be sure to remember it.

[He smirks now, glancing at her for a moment with a brief moment of speculation.]

Doesn't the DOI exist in your world? As I understand it -- from your documentation, your experience with this sort of thing. Is it so different? I admit, you probably don't find that you're a mummer's villain in a children's book until the last volume, but still.

Thank you. Miss Jupiter thought it best that I expand my wardrobe, especially for some of our joint business ventures. [He seems dismissive of it, really; he doesn't really aim to impress with his physicality.] It's helping to keep some of the fans from finding me so easily.
