Why, it has already begun to take to it. Perhaps you have not been my property. [ Property being...Central Park...

No, he really thinks he owns it.
]

If one cannot see or feel magic, it is not unexpected. It will absorb it, and use it to grow. To gain power to stand against the powers that will come.

I must not have. Where do you host this-- well of Magic?

[He's got interest at least. If he finds out it's a liquid form? He'll be all over that for potion making.]

It is in the oasis, at the center of the city, in the middle of the stone city.

It is not easy to miss, of course. You must just find the glowing lake.

[ Which of course, Illidan tells everyone to find the glowing lake, so snape can be all over it! (:C ]

[He puts the description together-- yes, he thinks he can find that, and will have to do so after the weekend is done.]

I will seek it out, to see what you have constructed.

It is welcome to all.

[ There is a tip of his head, though. Curious. ]

Although if you use a focus, do you necessarily need the power of the outside world to suffuse your magic?

I am a potion maker. Anything that may augment can be useful.

[So there you have it. First energon, now the well. He'll be in potion heaven soon enough.]

[identity profile] pandablade.livejournal.com 2011-09-04 07:50 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, an alchemist. [ To put that in terms he can understand... ]

And what sort of potions do you put your skills to use on?
onewrongword: (Potions)

[personal profile] onewrongword 2011-09-04 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
It would be a shorter list to say what I cannot create.

I cannot reverse death. I cannot create love, though there are a fair number of brews that simulate passion or infatuation.

The rest, is-- almost all possible, certainly.

[identity profile] pandablade.livejournal.com 2011-09-05 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed? It seems that few realms have masted the secrets of immortality, then. A constant, I would suppose, for most.

[ But he does sadface inwardly that nobody has figured out love potions either. SOMEDAY he will find someone to make one for him. ]

Although, it is a wide variety of options that you have. I am certain that your skills, such as they are, would be vast if any other option is open to you, are they not?

It is the one truth of our world: death is unconquerable.

[He doesn't know of any real immortality.]

But the options you mention are -- great, yes. My skill is unmatched.

asldkjf Sorry I'm so slow!

[identity profile] pandablade.livejournal.com 2011-09-06 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Unconquerable? That is a foolish notion. Of course it is able to be defeated.
onewrongword: (Disdain)

pfft bb i am so happy with your tags you don't even know

[personal profile] onewrongword 2011-09-07 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
[Snape just gives that thin smirk that says, very clearly: sure, whatever. fucking moron thinks he's lord of death, just what i need, another fucking voldemort.. to all that view it. Only more succinctly.]

If you insist. Your world may be different. Perhaps death is a revolving door for your heroes who return little worse from wear after a meeting with their maker.
