WHO: soldarius, sdrawkcabcigam, meowminx and whoever else was interested in shopping!
WHERE: downtown. A nice shopping district.
WHEN: early afternoon of Sept. 9th.
WARNINGS: none? Possibly mild language. Will be changed if anything happens.
SUMMARY: it's time for a whole new wardrobe for fall.
FORMAT: any. I'm starting with quick for now.


[ Bright and early is still something of a pain in the eyes for Kate. It doesn't take long for her to get ready and head out, but she always remembers to grab her sunglasses before stepping outside the MAC. Even with the eye shadow, it's still easy to make out she isn't getting a good night's rest. She's grown so accustomed to people asking, though, that she doesn't have much of a reaction when people comment on it.

But anyway, today is supposed to be a relatively fun day, shopping together with people after a long time. She could really use the breather for a few hours. ]

[ Selina on the other hand rarely shows her lack of sleep outwardly, at least. But then again, she does use the best skin care money can buy. Take it as you will.

The whole group thing isn't really ideal for her right now, but she's trying to go for business as usual. So she shows up in her own designer sunglasses and ensemble, arriving pretty much on time. Meaning only a little bit late. ]

[ It's Kate's darn pale skin. The dark circles contrast with her ghostly pale skin tone.

She notices Selina approaching but waits until she's closer to greet her with a quick wave, other hand pushing her sunglasses up the bridge of her nose. ]

Hey Selina.

[meowminx]

[ Kate is damn pale. Easy to pick her out of a crowd at least, between that and the red hair. ]

Kate. No one else here yet?

[gevurah]

[ She shakes her head, checking up and down the street for a moment. ]

Running late, I hope. Should I text Zatanna?

[meowminx]

If you want.

[ Selina's not sure how it's going to go seeing her for the first time since Bruce was Ported out. Not to mention around someone who's not up on the Batman thing. ]

[ Reaching into her bag, she fishes out her phone. ]

For once I'm the early one.

And here I thought I was fashionably late.

I suppose it's not late if the others aren't even here. [ She sincerely hopes no one forgot or they got ditched. ]

[And who comes but around the corner at just that moment? Why, an explosion of pink.]

Oh, there you are, Kate! I must have gotten all turned around! [Big long strides on them heels.] Well, I hope I haven't missed anything?

[ Selina raises an eyebrow. This guy definitely has a different sense of style than her. ]

You must be Nathan.

[gevurah]

[ Well, it's a lovely explosion of pink. And he can pull it off better than Kate ever can. She smiles. ]

Nope, we're still waiting for the others to show now.

[hexappeal]

[Zee is the latest. Not fashionably, either. T-shirt, jeans, boots, and the first jacket she found. Really, she's just lazy. Sunglasses cover She raises a hand in greeting and flips her hand in a half-wave before her hand falls to her side.]

Hey. Sorry I'm late. Alarm didn't go off and I had a busy evening. [Read: she's hungover.]

[ Selina gives Zee a nod. And doesn't say much else. Not sure what to say to her right now. ]

And you must be Selina. Pleasure! [And oh so polite and sweet with his tone. Enthusiastic, all the way.]

Well! With all of us here, I do believe we're ready to go... is anyone particular leading the way, or is it an as-you-go thing we're doing?

[ And Kate doesn't make anything of Zee and Selina. Oblivious to the awkward that is Bruce and his lady pals.

She looks over to Nathan but is addressing everyone really. ]

Is there any particular place anyone wanted to stop by first?

[hexappeal]

[At least they aren't at one each others' throats, Kate...

Zatanna shrugs. She was here to be dragged around, not to do the dragging. And really, she could probably use a bit of help before she goes back to tees, jeans, and Lennon glasses.] I'll follow wherever you lead.

[meowminx]

I know a place near her.

[ And she reels off the address of a boutique. A little pricy but not as much as some places she shops at. Besides, they carry a nice range of styles. ]

Well, it'll be better than Target. [Gives Zatanna a bit of a teasing smile.] And maybe we'll be able to get together that outfit I described for Kate...

No time to waste, then!

[And Nathan starts strutting off already.]

[ Kate grins a bit at that, eying Zee now. ]

It was in good fun.

[Zatanna ducks her head, vaguely embarrassed by the statement, but whatever. She was buying sweatpants with Geddoe. She really can't argue with that.]

[ Selina takes the lead, walking alongside Nathan, the only non-Gotham related person in the bunch. Also, the one she does know at all. ]

Me? Oh, getting onto two months now. Making big strides in a short amount of time, though! And now the heroes from where I'm from are showing up too. Barnaby, Wild Tiger, Sky High... next thing you know, maybe my high school romance will be showing up too! [A little laugh to himself. He's having fun fun fun.]

[ Eventually, she tears her eyes off of Zatanna, perking at the mention of other heroes being ported in. Strange names, she thinks to herself. ]

What are those guys like?

[Zatanna knows just as little about them. Thus far there have, what? Only been two distinct universes present here with heroes. She's interested, natch.]

That's a lot of people in a short amount of time. [They seem to come in waves like that.]
