[He shows up to her doorstep, a box tucked under his arm that has Checkers written in bright letters on the top. The smile isn't present on his face, the enthusiasm is missing from his knocking. But he's here, if only because Lua's silence is more comforting and safe right now then the fussing of his floor mates.]

[ She answers the door and does take notice of the change in him but she doesn't say anything about it. Instead she just smiles with a hint of concern as she steps to the side to let him in. ]
