WHO; Vector Prime & Co.
WHERE; One of the rooftop terraces in the City idefk.
WHEN; BACKDATED to last Weds. /o\
WHAT; Now that he has all the Cyber Key bits, it's time to try this shindig again. Of course, if everything went according to plan, we wouldn't have much of a story now would we? B)
NOTES; MASSIVE APOLOGIES TO THE LATENESS OF THIS. My priorities this week were all messed up. :C Basically, this is open to anyone who ICly helped with Cyber Key plot (and by 'help' we mean 'didn't go out and kill people or something like it'). Just tag yourselves in and if any Qs poke me?

It had been a difficult week. However, the fruits of the labor were in the seven silk-wrapped pieces of metal and crystal, strewn about the roof.

Truth be told, it probably didn't have to be done up so high, but - on the chance that it failed again, Vector was certain in his calculations but considering how he was also certain last time he didn't want to take any chances - it could or would minimize any damage.

At this point, though, he wasn't certain how much more they could break. A power overload, perhaps. But if it was just a matter of misjudging how the world affected the power, and how it filtered through...perhaps being in the City, after all, would help contain it. And if his suspicions of the Porter were correct, if there was anything too dangerous, she herself would intervene.

He wouldn't count on it, however. This was his own work, and his own responsibility. That said, he had left the proverbial door open, for any who wished to see the end results of their assistance - it was the least he could do, he felt.

Vector Prime waited with his eyes once more on the red-tinted sky, listening to the pulse of the world and relying on it once more to guide him when.

Houston was standing nearby, in uniform and with a brand new pair of goggles too. He's glad the shards are all collected even if he's not entirely sure what Vector Prime is planning to do. Joel kept quiet, just watching and waiting for any sign of trouble and taking in all the information he could.

Snape arrived like a stormcloud-- all in black and with nothing pleasant about him to be found. He was still very disappointed in Vector's... mistakes... and had no reason to disguise them at all.

So he waited to see how the idiot double would rectify them.

Bakura was all but bouncing on his toes in excited curiosity. Normally Big Things happened when all the pieces of a McGuffin were brought together. Last time he had watched the door to the afterlife open and Yuugi and his other self be separated into two separate bodies.

While he wasn't quite expecting that level of reality bending... he was sure that at least something would happen!

Lyra stood, holding Pantalaimon in her arms and waiting expectantly. If there was anyone in this world she trusted with meddling with the ways between worlds, it was Vector, and yet- the knife had seemed harmless, until she'd learned about the damage it caused. What if this was the same?

Houston turned a quick smile on his friends before looking up at Vector. "Alright. Just unwrap them?" he asks, walking over to one of the shards. He crouches down, carefully unwrapping the silk.

Bakura nodded, almost a little wistful as he unwrapped one of the ones he had been guarding. It was almost a shame, having to bring it to an end. It'd been a fun mini adventure. Even with the embarrassing transform sequence. Which he had kinda enjoyed in it's own silly way.

But this was how it was to be, putting all the pieces back together.

He just hoped that this wasn't going to wind up opening a door somewhere that shouldn't be opened like with the Items...

From a distance, Snape handled some of the other clothes, wand flicking and sending the pieces to his hand, collecting what others did not.

He did not relish the idea of this going any further wrong, but had no real idea of what he'd do if it did. Better to see his double through this, though, then continue to allow him to possibly impunge Snape's good name.

The Fallen did not want to help.

He'd only agreed to surrender the shard he'd found in exchange for being present when the Prime reassembled his little key to escaping the City - whatever else he thought of Vector, the Cybertronian did keep his word. He had a keen interest in the results, but he wasn't here to help. That was what Vector's lackeys were for.

So he held his position at the edge of the group, observing them in silence, the look on his face an intense, attentive one if you knew him and more of a scowl if you didn't.

Houston jumped back when the shard started trembling. He was a little nervous but pretty excited as well. This whole adventure had been a lot better than any of his previous ones and he'd enjoyed the hyper speed while he had it.

Moving back over to Bakura's side, Houston smiled. "This is cool, isn't it?" he whispered, eyes still on the shards. "I've never seen anything like it before.

A small, amazed "Aaaaa!" escaped Bakura as the shard he had unwrapped began to move. Next they'd start glowing, he was sure, come together and reunite... aaaa, like something out of an anime!

He turned as Joel spoke, giving his friend a warm smile. "Un! Really cool!" he agreed, looking back towards the shards with fanboyish glee. The Items had never levitated!
