WHO; Vector Prime & Co.
WHERE; One of the rooftop terraces in the City idefk.
WHEN; BACKDATED to last Weds. /o\
WHAT; Now that he has all the Cyber Key bits, it's time to try this shindig again. Of course, if everything went according to plan, we wouldn't have much of a story now would we? B)
NOTES; MASSIVE APOLOGIES TO THE LATENESS OF THIS. My priorities this week were all messed up. :C Basically, this is open to anyone who ICly helped with Cyber Key plot (and by 'help' we mean 'didn't go out and kill people or something like it'). Just tag yourselves in and if any Qs poke me?
It had been a difficult week. However, the fruits of the labor were in the seven silk-wrapped pieces of metal and crystal, strewn about the roof.
Truth be told, it probably didn't have to be done up so high, but - on the chance that it failed again, Vector was certain in his calculations but considering how he was also certain last time he didn't want to take any chances - it could or would minimize any damage.
At this point, though, he wasn't certain how much more they could break. A power overload, perhaps. But if it was just a matter of misjudging how the world affected the power, and how it filtered through...perhaps being in the City, after all, would help contain it. And if his suspicions of the Porter were correct, if there was anything too dangerous, she herself would intervene.
He wouldn't count on it, however. This was his own work, and his own responsibility. That said, he had left the proverbial door open, for any who wished to see the end results of their assistance - it was the least he could do, he felt.
Vector Prime waited with his eyes once more on the red-tinted sky, listening to the pulse of the world and relying on it once more to guide him when.

So he waited to see how the idiot double would rectify them.

While he wasn't quite expecting that level of reality bending... he was sure that at least something would happen!

JUST GONNA THREAD DOWN HERE instead of responding individually ahahasdk
...it was close. He turned, the tails of his coat sweeping slightly with the breeze as he bowed his head in acknowledgement of those gathered. "This won't take long," he quietly promised, moving over to the nearest shard and taking hold of the silk that covered it. "But if you'd like to help, just unwrap the pieces."

But this was how it was to be, putting all the pieces back together.
He just hoped that this wasn't going to wind up opening a door somewhere that shouldn't be opened like with the Items...

He did not relish the idea of this going any further wrong, but had no real idea of what he'd do if it did. Better to see his double through this, though, then continue to allow him to possibly impunge Snape's good name.

He'd only agreed to surrender the shard he'd found in exchange for being present when the Prime reassembled his little key to escaping the City - whatever else he thought of Vector, the Cybertronian did keep his word. He had a keen interest in the results, but he wasn't here to help. That was what Vector's lackeys were for.
So he held his position at the edge of the group, observing them in silence, the look on his face an intense, attentive one if you knew him and more of a scowl if you didn't.
I guess we'll be skipping Lyra. @_@ Sorry for delay, folks.
Wonderful. They were all here. The thought was not as warming as it could be, despite the innate heat of the last.
Shaking his head, Vector gently lifted his shard in to midair. The others, freed from their barriers, trembled lightly on the ground as he gave his a light push. It spun lightly in midair, hovering as if by a magnet - one that was slowly pulling the other pieces to it.
That which is incomplete, yearns to be complete.

Moving back over to Bakura's side, Houston smiled. "This is cool, isn't it?" he whispered, eyes still on the shards. "I've never seen anything like it before.

He turned as Joel spoke, giving his friend a warm smile. "Un! Really cool!" he agreed, looking back towards the shards with fanboyish glee. The Items had never levitated!
