[so he has this guitar now, see. and...actually, he...really likes it! and has taken to practicing a lot. it's fun. he's not a prodigy, but he's not abysmal, either.

he just seems prone to repetition and short songs.

also, the lock to his apartment door is still broken, so it's still ajar. which means passers-by can probably see the rock-guy lounging on the floor, propped up at the foot of the couch with the guitar in his lap, picking away.]

[he's always a little more careful when he can hear footsteps, but even so, the last note hits too sharp when the feet stop and the greeting sounds.

Zel flinches a little, looking up quickly and blinking. who...?
