WHO: Laura Kinney and OPEN
WHERE: Random rooftops and alleyways in unpleasant parts of the city
WHEN: Different nights this weekend.
WARNINGS: Violence, probably!
SUMMARY: Laura is out tracking some drug dealers and runs into people! Specifically Dakan, but anyone else can start a thread too, just let me know when. Laura will either be out patrolling, sitting on a roof somewhere watching drug dealers, wandering around during the day, or...well, I can roll with anyone.
FORMAT: Para to start, then whatever.
Laura was perched on the edge of the rooftop overlooking the alleyway, her black clothing and dark hair shadowing her from view in the shadow of an old chimney. She was listening to a pair of drug dealers down below talking about meaningless things, the words weren't important really, just the tone of their voices, their smell, their heart rates, clues of what they were doing next. They'd been working for an hour now, and Laura was just considering the right moment to strike.
She always waited it out like this, since she tended to take their 'profits' to keep herself in house and home, and there wasn't any point in getting drug dealers without any money arrested. Well, there was the 'getting them off the streets' aspect, but they'd just be replaced by more drug dealers, which defeated the purpose, really.

And then Laura realized what Tom was doing, exactly. She was not going to let him kill the man. She jumped over and grabbed at his shoulder, pulling him away. "Stop it."

When Laura pulled him off the guy, Tom snarled and turned on the ball of his foot, taking a swipe at her.

"Tom, control yourself!"

He shakes his head and moves back to her, looking concerned even as she begins to heal. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit you. It just happened before I knew it."
no subject
She approached him carefully, not really expecting him to lash out again but it never hurt to be prepared. Her arm was healing quickly, by the time she was close it had sealed over and the last traces of the injury were fading. "It's fine." She said, her voice quiet. "But you need to get control of yourself. Other people do not heal the way I do. You could kill someone."

He's relieved that the cuts healed quickly, but when she speaks to him, he just tilts his head to the side, looking at her almost in a confused, childlike way. "But I don't care about them."

"If you need to attack someone, if you can't help it, attack me." It made sense to her, at least. She could defend herself, and any injuries he inflicted would disappear after a short while.

But he couldn't say that he was calm enough for that to apply to everyone now. He was tense, but he wasn't going to just fught someone he didn't want to.
He finally turns back and goes over to the man he'd previously mauled, digging through his pockets and pulling out the money before handing it to Laura. "I can find more."
no subject
"If we find more you may accidentally kill someone."
no subject
"I won't kill them," He says quickly, almost childlike in nature. "What if I just maim them a little?"
no subject
"You are barely able to control yourself. You are going to do something you will regret."
