[INCOMPLETE]
WHO: Dick (age 18), Jason (age 15 - screw Dennis O'Neil), Tim later.
WHERE: Somewhere
WHEN: March 7th, late evening.
WHAT: Dick wants to meet Jason. Because it's *Jason*.
WARNING: None? Well, it's Dick at 18, so I'm sure it's gonna be emo.
FORMAT: Quickpara
Dick had spent some time stalking Jason's comm number on the board. Even though he had never gotten any answer, the Robin asking for Batman from a week back had been called Jason publicly had to be Jason. Especially since Tim had said he was here, there was nearly no mistake possible - it would have been extremely weird for Batman to get another Robin later on also called Jason.
Either way - he wanted to talk to him but wasn't doing anything for it. Talking to him through PMs was not going to do anything because... okay maybe it would have done something but that would have required for Dick to send Jason a PM and to wait for an answer. And he really, really was anxious enough already.
So after a week of not doing much and trying to convince himself he didn't need to meet Jason, it failed quite a lot and he broke into Tim's computer lab on the top floor of the Tower to get some tracing done on Jason's comm. He transferred the info in his own and grabbed a few grappling hooks and lines. Maybe he wouldn't need them but it was late enough that Jason would - could be out as Robin and it was easier to reach a Robin with grapples.
He followed the signal and if he didn't find any Robin on his way - he'd have to pinpoint it and look for... someone wearing a comm. That couldn't be so hard. He also had an idea of the height (although he could be older) and, well, the black hair.
There was no Robin but there was a teenager matching the description and he was the only person in the signal's perimeter, walking around. Dick caught up on him and slipped in front of him, blocking the way partly.

In the end, Jason was sick of being locked up, whether it was with Sirius or Teddy and so he decided to sneak out. Unfortunately, he didn't have his Robin costume on him so he had to wander the city streets in his civvies.
He really didn't expect anything to happen while he was out, so he was surprised when someone decided to block his path. His first thought was to ignore him and walk around him but judging by the person's posture, it didn't look like it was going to work.
"Can I help you?" Jason tilted his head, making a face.

no subject
"Dick?" he squinted.
no subject
He takes a step back because keeping his distances is wise. "It's the first time I meet you, actually."
no subject
"Huh, really? Is this another time thing 'cause I'm really getting tired of this," he sighs.
no subject
He doesn't, it would make him feel too un-ready.
no subject
"Well, that's cool and all, nice to meet you," he said impatiently. "Now if you mind, I've sort of got somewhere to be," he was lying, not like it mattered. There might've been a place he needed to be, there might've not, it wasn't like Dick was going to know that.
no subject
"Why the fuck did Bruce pick you up?"
no subject
"What's it to you?"
no subject
no subject
"Don't blame me for you shortcomings."
no subject
"I think we're each other's problems right now."
no subject
He hits the ground with a thud. This really wasn't what he was looking for, a fight.
"Let. Me. Go!" Jason hisses and kicks Dick in his gut.
no subject
Within seconds, Tim is grabbing Dick, trying to pull him off of Jason, and he'll hurt him if he has to.
"What the hell do you think you're doing? Get off of him."
no subject
And he's really not up to fighting against Tim and Jason about nothing at all. So he gets up when Tim pulls him and takes a few steps back, glaring at them both. He wants to argue but there is nothing to argue about and so he stays ready in case Jason decides he's going to attack back.
no subject
Jason sits up, rubbing his arm where Dick had been grasping him and returned the glare.
no subject
And Tim turns his attention right back to Dick, moving to stand between him and Jason, and giving him a cool, even look of disapproval. "This doesn't look much like talking, Dick." LEt alone the fact that he'd broken his promise and gone to find Jason alone.
no subject
"I'll give you it was a bad idea," he says coldly as he's turning around to walk towards the Tower, "But I'll keep on not-talking. See you later."
no subject
It takes some effort to keep himself from calling out to Dick with an insult or two, he knows it would just make things worse. Maybe he is looking for a fight after all, especially after being riled up.
He doesn't call out instead, he addresses the other guy. "Who the hell're you?" he has an idea of who it probably is but decides to ask anyway.
no subject
"Sorry about that. I'm Tim." He doesn't know how much people have told Jason about him, of course, but he'll soon find out if his name had come up.
no subject
"Just Tim?" he asks, hoping for more than just a first name.
no subject
So, fine. "Tim Drake. And yeah, number three."
no subject
"The third one, huh?" he says more bitterly than he intends it to be.
no subject
"Mm. I would have said hello sooner, but I've had to deal with Dick, and I didn't think it'd be a great idea for you guys to meet."
no subject
This is awkward for him and it is probably awkward for Tim too. He doesn't really know what to do from this point, he was planning on meeting the third Robin, just not quite like this.
Jason sighs. "What's the deal with Dick anyway?"
no subject
It doesn't make this any less awkward, though.
"He's from a world where B fired him, rather than him leaving. So he's... hurting pretty bad, and resentful of his replacement." He makes a bit of a face.
no subject
He shrugs, it isn't like he can really say much to that. So Batman fired him, it isn't like Jason made Bruce do it. It's stupid.
"What good will beating on me do? I'm not even the same one from his world," he shrugs again, this entire situation is too weird.
God Dre Jason looks like a zombie in that icon DX
"I don't know, maybe he thought it'd make him feel better. We all do stupid things sometimes, huh?"
well, pfff that's Batman: the cult, for you.
"Yeah sure," it isn't an excuse, at least not a good one.
*Never reads it :|*
"Anyway, how're you doing? Apart from dealing with him."
it was actually.. pretty interesting. lfmaslkfa
"I don't need to be babysat, I can handle myself, thanks."
