TURKEY DAY AT THE PIE HOLE

WHERE: The Pie Hole pie restaurant and bakeshop
WHEN: Thanksgiving Day, November 24 12pm-12am
WARNINGS: PG-13 at the most I would guess.
SUMMARY: Ned invites the whole City to the Pie Hole for Thanksgiving Dinner. It will be open to all those who aren't cooking by 12 and the food should hit the tables around 1-1:30. Feel free to come as late as you want, Ned will be here all night. Zatanna has magicked the place to be endlessly large so never fear, there's a place for you and yours!

[For most of the night, Ned will be shut away in the kitchen, but he's not completely rude so he'll be making the rounds...]

I'll take that as a yes. [He only twitches a little before warming up a plate for her and bringing it out with some almost flat sparkling cider.]

[She's almost half asleep again when he returns, head tilted back in the light. Her bruises and black eye are more clearly visible now. She stirs when he puts the plate down.]

That looks amazing. I'm really sorry I stumbled in on accident, but thank you so much. And I swear I have the money to pay for it.

[He shook his head, trying not to react at all to the state of her face.] Oh, no... It's on the house. It's still Thanksgiving, you know, somewhere.

[She gestures at her black eye. She doesn't like leaving injuries out there without explanations, there's too much chance people will start coming up with their own ones. Like criminal. Or vigilante.] I got caught up in the parade panic this morning.

[He nods, suspecting there's more to it though he wouldn't air those concerns.] I'm sorry to hear that. From what I've been hearing, I'm lucky I was here all day. [Or well. Most of it.]

I don't like being frightened under regular circumstances, I can't really imagine its gaseous form to be more pleasant. [A slightly awkward throat-clearing] Can I get you anything else?
