I like it, sometimes. I'm a little picky. I'm not usually too hungry in the morning, either. Not unless I'm... particularly active, of course. [she knows what she's doing.]

I rarely wake up early, myself. (If you get what he means.)
hexappeal: (trolololol.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-11 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
I like to be up early. Unless I literally had no sleep the night before. [still playing coy, she busies herself setting up a cup of tea.]

[identity profile] breakhisknees.livejournal.com 2011-12-13 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
You're a far more disciplined person than I. [Oh, he sees that.]
hexappeal: (let me meditate on that.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-14 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
I like being up at sunrise. It's a good time to meditate.

[identity profile] breakhisknees.livejournal.com 2011-12-14 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
I used to that a lot when I was in India, but it just doesn't feel right when you're on the move. [a beat.] I work at one of those stupid spa resorts that are here in town, if you're looking for a good place to meditate or do yoga, you should stop by.
hexappeal: (everything is divided.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-14 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
I don't like doing it in public -- for one, I prefer to go nude -- and the other, well. I know what I'm doing and I don't need guidance. Or to be validated by others.

[identity profile] breakhisknees.livejournal.com 2011-12-14 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
[That earns her a small smile before he leans in, dropping his voice to a whisper.] You're not the only one that does yoga or meditates naked, you know.

[but, he pulls back afterwards to hide the fact that he's not a ~*~perfect~*~ gentleman.] Besides, I'm the one that has access to those very nice rooms before my classes start, you never know how relaxing it is to meditate when there's some connection to nature.
hexappeal: (wait a minute there.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-14 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
I'd hope you don't do it in a group setting. [She's a little too amused by this...]

I wouldn't say a spa is a connection to nature, personally.

[identity profile] breakhisknees.livejournal.com 2011-12-14 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, there was this one time...] If they want that, they have to pay me a lot more. Cigarettes are expensive now, I'm surprised.

[Her comment earns him a scoff.] People pay extra for it, it seems.
hexappeal: (pick me up and turn me around.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-14 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
They're expensive because of all of the law suits. [She ignores the first comment. Or, tries to.]

They do, yes. Still, I don't need to be around other people or to be guided. I use mine as an exercise in magical focus, also.

[identity profile] breakhisknees.livejournal.com 2011-12-14 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
So I've read. [He sighs, for once showing how well he's adapting to the future.]

I didn't mean to offend, it was just an offer.
hexappeal: (safe.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-14 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
[She smiles; small, warm. Still tired, but real.] You didn't. Yoga and meditation just... tend to be associated with bored housewives that are looking for some sort of meaning in their lives. Women who have nothing better to do with their time, not people who use it for anything in particular.

And I? I happen to prefer to do it alone.

[identity profile] breakhisknees.livejournal.com 2011-12-14 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
You wouldn't be wrong, really. Back when India was considered the "Jewel" of the British Empire, it was looked down upon as something that the lower class natives did. [he learned it for the same reasons that she did, though his for more nefarious use.]

My "clients" don't know that all I really say in my mantras are: "I would really like a drink, maybe a nice scotch. That man needs to wear longer pants, Timcampy stop eating the fake fruit- " or something like that.
hexappeal: (discuss.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-14 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
It's interesting how that works out, isn't it? [Her father had done both (though clothed), as well. As far as she knew meditation had always been a practice closely entwined with they mystic arts.]

Not that saying those things gives it any less credibility. It's whatever you can use as a focus. Though I imagine that they'd be appalled that it wasn't something deep and meaningful.

[identity profile] breakhisknees.livejournal.com 2011-12-14 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think anyone speaks the dialect I speak anymore. [At least, he hopes.] Besides, I kind of look the part, don't I?
hexappeal: (everything is divided.)

[personal profile] hexappeal 2011-12-14 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
The dialect may not exist in this universe to begin with.

The part of what, exactly?
