[ Over three and a half hours of cinematographic mastery, the second Ghostbusters winds to a halt as the credits begins to roll (having already gotten their way through the first), and John is practically bouncing in his seat in boyish glee. It's been awhile since he's been able to share his movies with people. Actually, it might be more accurate to say that no one but Jade would watch his movies with him, and even she had eventually put a stop to his insistence on having movie nights, so being able to share his beloved films with friends again is an exciting opportunity!

He looks over at Ruka expectantly, sooooo ready for her glowing praise of the awesome that is Ghostbusters. ]

[ In stark contrast to John's exuberant energy, Ruka still appears very reserved, calm, as though they were in an art house theater instead of a sitting room sofa. Her expression is contemplative. ]

I still don't think it's possible to actually sit on a throne made of blood.

[ That's... that's a little nerve racking actually! Especially having been told by other people that his movies aren't that enjoyable at all to watch! What if Ruka didn't like it after all? He can't imagine how anyone COULDN'T like Ghostbusters, but he also can't imagine how anyone couldn't like Little Monsters either, and Rose is living proof that such things can happen.

So he's calming his bouncing a little and wiggling in his seat uncomfortably. ]

Well, not technically, but lots of things are possible that wouldn't be otherwise when ghosts are involved.

[ Unfortunately for John, Ruka could sometimes be a little difficult to read -- at least at first. She simply isn't the sort of person to expend any more energy than necessary, and bouncing around in a seat would certainly qualify.

Then again, life is tough in the city. ]

Even with ghosts. Unless the blood was coagulated, I suppose. But, then it would be more like a throne made of gelatinized blood.

[ No kidding! He is kind of nervous now that she's criticizing an aspect of the movie, but he will keep trying to defend the movie. ]

I don't know about that, ghost powers are pretty impressive!

I'm not sure... it wasn't a movie or anything like that, I don't think, since I don't really watch these sorts of things very often.

Unless he had to go to court for something, I really doubt that. [Number of movies or unique television shows Ruka has watched since arriving in the City, nearly three years ago: less than a dozen.] No, it's definitely something else...

I never used to watch stuff like this. Back home, I mean. All those people who come through, that are supposed to be famous or whatever, I never recognize them at all. It's still a little strange to me.
