[ Aradia has gotten a santa hat from somewhere, and is wearing it at a jaunty angle, sampling bits of food from here and there. She's a little bruised and scraped up from corralling Calendar Man's DELIGHTFUL gift, but seems overall cheery and none the worse for wear. ]

She's also got her hair tied up with a length of sparkly red and gold tinsel, and is wearing a fluffy Christmas jumper which is a bit more store-bought than she's used to. Still, it wouldn't be Christmas without one. ]

[ Congratulations Weasleys (this means you too Ron and Ginny), you lot are all getting the same thing from Tonks. Different colors, different sizes, sure. Fleece pullovers with matching hats and gloves. Fred and George's are dark gray. Ron's is navy. Ginny's set is burgundy. All of them have their first initials embroidered in white above their hearts. Molly's not here and Tonks can't knit. It's the thought that counts, right?

[Wes is sneaky as he heads upstairs to the twins' place. All his gifts have been professionally wrapped at the stores except for a bouquet which is really for Andromeda. Dear god she better be here. She also gets one of the wrapped gifts, a rare 1912 edition of Le Morte D'Arthur. For the twins beer, specifically Siamese Twin Ale because even Wes can see the lame joke with that. Even Severus gets a wrapped gift but only because it was an excuse for Wesley to buy another rare tomb. This is an 1873 German original on the medicinal properties of American plants and flowers.

He hopes to sneak the gifts in and then sneak out again before being accosted by someone.]

[ Oh, look. It's another red-head. This one is tall and lanky and, at any given point, is probably eating. Ron Weasley is a comfort eater and, rather than looking as sulky as he feels, he's simply stuffing his face with anything he can get his hands on.

[ kanaya happens to be passing by one one of her trips from the kitchen, idly studying the ceiling, when her line of sight happens to catch the mistletoe. she'd read about this one, she was aware of the expected customs.

she winces as she looks over and notices luna there beside her, underneath the same sprig. ]

[ kanaya reluctantly pulled herself away from tank's party to make it back here. she made a promise, and she wasn't going to back away from it. so she was working fervently in the kitchen, working up a storm and trying to get everything cooked and ready.

at short times she'd feel confident enough to test her abilities at moving things, snatching the threads of various ingredients and reeling them in carefully so they don't make a mess. she'd dropped a knife in the wall while doing this earlier, but contented herself with the fact that no one saw her do it, and resolved to cover the mark until she was given opportunity to respackle it.

she really only ventured out of the kitchen to drop off finished dishes, but made sure she was always free to be interrupted when she did so ]

[ It's just trolls and gingers. Trolls, people she's pretty sure used to be trolls, and gingers (nevermind that she fits right in with those parameters), as far as the eye can see. She'd told Tavros she'd come to his Christmas party (as Redbird, of course), but oh man is she ever regretting it. Parties have never exactly been her thing.

But lo, a familiar face, bearing a dish of something tasty-looking! ...A face that... probably doesn't constitute as friendly. But, hell, Carrie will take what she can get. She sidles over to catch one of Kanaya's trips out from the kitchen, making sure to put herself in the other's line of sight, and trying to manage a cool little smile and a nod.

Really it just ends up looking like an awkward little smile and a nod, though. ]
