WHERE: zee’s mansion!
WHEN: uhm, next week? sometime? uhm…
WARNINGS: tears (but probably nothing)
SUMMARY: so like thomas still has like lionthings? and zee is amazing?
FORMAT: action!
[ Knock knock. (That’s not a joke?)
Standing on the doorstep of Zee’s mansion, Thomas fidgets a little as he waits, swinging the plastic bag full of bakery-bought goodies in one hand. After a not-even-a-moment, he rings the doorbell. Just in case. Honestly, if he could right now, he’d be chewing his nails like woah. Which is totally dumb, because it’s not like she would be a jerk to him or anything for earnestly asking, but, like, still? Yeah...
But really, he can’t postpone getting help forever. So, knock knock, again. ]

She rubs at her eyes and stifles a yawn.] Hey, what's up? [How chill.]
no subject
Oh, uh. I got you two pies and some... [ Ruffling in the bag, he squints. ] some kind of European jelly rolls? [ Shuffles. ] Can I come in?
no subject
You can do whatever you want, so long as the pies come with. [There's a quick little wink as she leans forward and reaches around his arm, giving him a gentle tug when she steps out of the way to make room for his entrance.] I was napping with Gaster, so you'll have to excuse my lack of conversational skills for the moment.
[Already grabbing the bag from him, she heads past the living room to the kitchen. It's large and mostly open space, decorated sparsely. There's a small wine fridge beside the normal one (stocked), and a door presumably leading to the basement near the sun room. She's going through the cupboards, reaching for a mug only to wave a finger and have it slide out and float into her hands.] Can I get you anything? Coffee? Tea? Something stronger?
no subject
I'd kill for a cup of coffee. [ Leaning against the counter, he can't help but let his eyes stray across the room. ] Did you, like, enchant this place? I swear, it didn't look nearly as big from the outside.
no subject
I did, yes. It's not nearly as solid an enchantment as the one back home. Actually, my place in San Francisco's fairly average. The family estate outside of Gotham, Shadowcrest, has the kind of magic in it that can't be swayed. I don't even think I've been in all the rooms! [She's getting excited, gently leading him toward the kitchen table.] Heard it was built by one of my ancestors and reinforced by every following generation, but I've no idea if that's true.
[OH YEAH. COMPANY... uh.] So, um, any reason you're here? Can't be just to listen to me ramble and eat.
no subject
Well, I wouldn't mind that, to be honest. I'd like that. But, yeah. [ Hesitates. Opens his mouth, about to speak, closes it. Opens it again. ] I came here because of the, you know. [ Waves. ] This. I was hoping that you could maybe help me. With this.
no subject
Hm? No need to be shy about it. [She sits down, folding a leg beneath herself so she's a little higher up on the chair and inches over the table. There's not so much staring as looking as she slides a hand under his chin and turns his face from one way to the other.] This might take a while. When I had to regrow John's arm, it took a solid seven to nine hours and removing a bullet from Arthur took time and energy, as well. It's not impossible, but... I'm just saying you might get a little bored?
[She gets to her feet and inspects him further. It might have been creepy, if it was anyone else.] I'll do my best to make sure I can prevent any pain, but you might want to, I don't know. Pick out a few movies and be prepared to take a long nap? [She gently retracts her hand and places her palm on the table, leaning against it.]
no subject
[ With a small bit of hesitation, he places a hand carefully over hers. Minding the claws, of course. ] I don't know if you have any idea of how grateful I am for this. I don't know if there's anyone else around that would be willing to do anything of this magnitude for me, if they even were able to.
[ Leans forward. Earnestly: ] Seriously, thank you.
no subject
[She offers a tiny, reassuring smile in return.] I appreciate your sincerity, but don't worry about it. [She gently takes his... claw... and gives him a tug.] Pie can wait. I imagine it's easier to eat without... those things. [The curiosity is still plain on her face, but it doesn't bother her enough to ask.] Uh, let's see. I think maybe doing this in one of the spare rooms upstairs might be better than the living room, considering my assistant is currently staying with me, Deadman keeps popping in at his own leisure, and Billy will be coming back in a few hours.
[She releases his grip and scribbles a note for them, putting it on the fridge. 'Busy helping a friend, please do not disturb. - Zee' (with a little heart, of course).] There.
