The faster you go, the more force you have... Well, of course, that was true. The higher the velocity the more inertia and thus the more power put into something. Duo already knew Mello was capable of superstrength via superspeed, or at least what seemed like superstrength. He wasn't quite sure how to categorize it, but it was there. And so obviously, if he could go faster, he could deal harder blows. It made sense- especially for Mello, who was always after more power, more of- everything, really. To be the best. It was just another step for him...

Duo shook his head with a chuckle. "I guess that's true. So you've improved a lot like this, I guess?" He smiled, as amiably as he could make it, genuinely curious in how one could train powers like that. And he wondered, too, what Mello was capable of like this. The first answer that came to mind was 'anything he puts his mind to'. That's just how Mello was.

He thought a moment, fell quiet again. It was strange, but nice like this. He lay back again, content. He wondered if Mello liked it too. A voice in the back of his mind reminded him with a sigh- he was probably neutral like he was to almost everything.
