[ The clinic’s full today due to the recent influx, and probably swarming with activity from all quarters. The victims are spread out - or in some cases close together - so try to can the outbursts during quiet hours. ]

[A little listening around the nurse's station had garnered intel on yet another victim being kept at the hospital -- so of course Spidey had to investigate after visiting his friends. As a peace offering, he brings a king-sized candy bar.]

Hi. You're Redbird, right?

[ Well, that's... a nice red-and-blue blur, she's got visiting her there. She's really tired of squinting at things though, so he gets a quick sidelong glance, then it's right back to staring out the shuttered window. It's a nice blank expanse to focus on, if nothing else. ]

Usually. [ That with a self-conscious, tired smile that gets aimed at the window. She can't bring herself to care about the missing mask and costume right now. ]

Right ... [He shuffles his feet a little.] Look, far be it from me to pester a fellow hero who doesn't want to be pestered -- actually, that's a lie, I do that all the time. My point is, I can go away if you want, but I'm trying to figure out who did this to you and all those other people, and if you're willing to tell me what you remember ... it could help.

[He waves the bar.] Also, I brought candy, although receipt of said candy is not in any way contingent on you talking to me.

[ Oh. Not looking at him was probably pretty rude, huh. Not that she plans on looking over, but it at least warrants an explanation. ]

S'fine, I don't need convincing. Only, I'm coming down off totally blind, and trying to see you sounds like a great headache. [ She shifts, pulling knees to her chest and turning to face him, but keeps her head bowed. ] Bet you're getting tired of hearing I don't remember anything, though, huh.

[He holds up his hands reassuringly.]

Hey, don't you worry about it. Whatever you need to do to be comfortable.

[Moving further into the room, he stops at the foot of the bed and slides the candy down the bedspread, within her reach.]

Wasn't sure if you'd like Snickers, but then I said to myself, "Spidey, who doesn't like Snickers?" So if you don't like it, it's not my fault you're some kinda weird statistical outlier.

[ Heh. That gets a smile, at least, and she drops a hand toward that vague blur of a something. Sure feels like a Snickers bar. ]

Thanks. [ No kid needs sight to unwrap and eat candy. No kid. Through a bite: ] I know it was a guy. 'N just one, I think.

[He keeps his voice pitched low and easy.]

Do you remember anything about where you were grabbed, or how?

No. [ A shake of her head, a little sadly. ] Got nothing on either, sorry. Don't even remember what I was doing before.

[Ugh, he so doesn't want to ask this of a teenage girl.]
