WHO: Seras Victoria, Kaylee Frye
WHERE: Kaylee's apartment at the MAC
WHEN: Saturday March 3rd after sunset.
WARNINGS: None
SUMMARY: Seras brings the Harkonnen over for Kaylee to have a look at and see if she can make a new one.
FORMAT: Para
It took Seras a little bit of time to request the truck from dispatch, but in the end she got it in the end. It wasn't as if she was taking it out for personal use. Replacing the Harkonnen was police business. So what if the other officers couldn't use it? That was probably always going to be the case for any weapon made specifically for her. Still, maybe she'd look into something a bit smaller that used more common ammunition, but then again if she changed caliber it wouldn't pack the same punch. Maybe she could just get it made shorter, then she wouldn't have to get a truck every time she wanted to move the thing in a vehicle.
Her arrival at the MAC cut her internal argument short and she walked into the back of the SWAT truck to get the Harkonnen. Looking at it was a sad sight. The barrel was bent well past forty-five degrees and the receiver had cracked. It shouldn't surprise her considering what had happened, but it still did. It had been with her so long now that it almost hurt to see it like this. Sighing, she picked it up and headed into the MAC finally setting it down outside Kaylee's door and knocking.

"Hey," she said with a wave, swinging the door farther open. "Let's get it inside."

Saying it now she was kind of amazed there was anything left of it.

But then this place could be strange like that, she supposed. "Well, can you show me how the broken parts're supposed t'fit?"

"Lemme poke around a second," she muttered.

"I think I got it mostly covered," she mused, "But I might need a couple things." Small pieces and parts she didn't have laying around, and she listed them off hesitantly.
