[Ever since Friday morning, Renee's been doing her best to avoid anyone who might have listened to her pour out her heart. Of course, since she did it to the entire Network, it's been a little hard. It just means not being at home— and skirting around Charlie, though he seems to understand. And she's not even thinking about Kate.

What immediately strikes her when she walks into the Pie Hole is how charming it is. No, it's like slap in the face of cheery goodness, warmth, and the feeling of coming back to an old place instead of being a first-time customer. Her first thought is of how quickly it would be smashed and covered in graffiti in Gotham. As she walks to the counter, her eyes wander over everyone else inside, Renee wary without unconsciously. Still a cop, even without the badge and a mask instead.
