SUMMARY: Renee's still a little embarrassed about FEELINGS, so she is gonna stuff them down with pie.

FORMAT: Quick? Quick.

[Ever since Friday morning, Renee's been doing her best to avoid anyone who might have listened to her pour out her heart. Of course, since she did it to the entire Network, it's been a little hard. It just means not being at home— and skirting around Charlie, though he seems to understand. And she's not even thinking about Kate.

What immediately strikes her when she walks into the Pie Hole is how charming it is. No, it's like slap in the face of cheery goodness, warmth, and the feeling of coming back to an old place instead of being a first-time customer. Her first thought is of how quickly it would be smashed and covered in graffiti in Gotham. As she walks to the counter, her eyes wander over everyone else inside, Renee wary without unconsciously. Still a cop, even without the badge and a mask instead.

When she's taken her seat, she waits quietly for a menu. Her nose is already telling her that everything in here is going to be good.]

[Shahrazad heads her way. She is in a way the very embodiment of the establishment. She is cheerful and warm even to the casual observer. This place is a home to her and she moves toward Renee, her newest customer, with ease of someone welcoming a guest.]

I don't think I've seen you here before. Welcome! [She smiles brightly.]

I am Shahrazad. Have you come to a decision or do you need more time?

Nah, this is my first time.

[Renee glances up to look at Shahrazad. Yeah, she does seem to fit right in to the atmosphere of the place. The easy friendliness has her a little wary, but she tries to ignore the feeling.]

What would you recommend?

[She seems to think about it a minute.]

Since it's your first time, you should select one of Shirley's brownies. It's a nice way to get started.

Surprise me with your favorite.

[Renee's insistence is tempered with a friendly smile. She had come here for pie, but a brownie sounds just fine. Especially if it is served by a hot waitress.]

[Shahrazad is surprised at first but, it quickly changes to innocent enthusiasm for the task.]

Alright! You won't be disappointed. [She disappears a few minutes. When she returns it is with one of Shirley's white chocolate razzle: raspberry and white chocolate swirled through fudge. She brings a cup of coffee to accompany it.]

Here you go! Please let me know if it doesn't meet your expectations. I'll bring something else more suited to your tastes.

[Considering how good the place smelled, she's not surprised to learn the food tastes good too. Well, it tastes fantastic. Renee's pleased with the choice.]

[She's teasing her.]

Oh no. [She chuckles. Shahrazad is happy to play along with the teasing.]
