E-every breath you take?! [incomplete]
WHO: Robin III, Batgirl, Odysseus.
WHERE: In the streets nearish Iron Man's tower.
WHEN: 17 March during the mutant attacks.
WARNINGS: Violence. ... And Slade, so you know, creepery.
SUMMARY: Odysseus posted video to the network, Tim flipped out, punched a mirror, then calculated his location and decided to kick his ass. So he calls Batgirl because she's awesome and he's not stupid, okay.
FORMAT: Quickpara or whatever we want.
Tim flipped open the Titans-only communicator that Slo-Bo had made and tuned to a specific frequency as he made his way through the streets. He was mostly avoiding the attackers, only taking them down when he had to - he had a feeling he'd need to save his strength, and get to his location fast besides.
"Batgirl. Meet me at..." he paused, then rattled off co-ordinates for an upcoming rooftop. "Quickly, please."

Organization could wait. Though minutes may have felt like hours, she arrived quickly, suggesting she'd been out and about when she received the message.

"There was a video post, a man fighting with a flaming bo-staff. It was - the one who kept me captive." Further explanation of why they were going after him was unnecessary. "Tracked his location from the video."
And apparently that was where Tim's patience wore out, because he began moving again, swinging off and - well, he hoped Batgirl would follow.

In her mind, she replayed the video, picking up again the occasional nuance of emotion from the man's stance. Triumph. Taunting.

Slade withdrew the bo staff, faint movement along the periphery of his vision causing him to turn - two figures rapidly approaching from the direction of Iron Man's lab, one of them immeditately recognizable. He smiled.
And then he was moving, shadows folding over him as he disappeared from view. If they wanted to find him, they'd have to work for it.
Now...let the games begin.
okay srsly i just dunno what... to put @_@ have introspection about shadows?
Whatever the case, Tim could read the actions of the figure - Odysseus - clearly enough. A taunt, baiting them. He wasn't afraid to follow, but he'd be cautious. There was no room to underestimate the enemy and make mistakes. So he headed into the shadows carefully, letting the lenses in his mask do their work, and on edge - alert for an ambush of any kind, for any sign of where Odysseus was, anything.
awesome!!
hurr hurr *lights up Tim and Cass's lives*
It was no reason to be careless, though, so Slade also proceeded carefully, keeping his own movements smooth, efficient, and silent. Then, once he was a certain ways in, he paused, letting them catch up, already planning the next phases of this merry chase out in his mind.
Thus, when they rounded the next corner, he would be waiting for them in plain view at the end of a narrow alleyway. He said nothing when he saw them, merely smiled under his mask as he lifted a finger and pointed at Robin - the same gesture he'd used the first time the Boy Wonder had awoken all those weeks ago.
Then, without some much as a shift in stance, a torrent of fire appeared from nowhere, streaking towards Robin and Batgirl with preternatural speed.

He wasn't eager to test the fireproofing of his cape and uniform against this attack if he could help it, so he jumped over it, throwing a couple of batarangs at Odysseus as he did so, and hoping to land safely on the other side.
