look forget the redbulls we have a situation here
WHO: Kara, Danger, Khaji-Da
WHERE: Xavier Institute
WHEN: 4/19
WARNINGS: Idk
SUMMARY: GIVE ME YOUR POWER, MUTANT SCHOOL ENERGY GRID
FORMAT: no
[well, it's just a calculation, and human nature is a fickle, hard-to-tack-down sort of thing, but Khaji-Da was pretty certain Jaime would take interest in the current situation if he could.
what with the whole "flying in Supergirl's arms" thing and all. it'd file away the visuals had it not been very preoccupied with keeping the body alive. perhaps after this potential recharge...
of course, that was hardly certain as well. it was working pretty blind in this case, thanks to the ever useless Stark being true to character (why did its host communicate with him, again?) and divulging next to nothing about the entity named danger.
it's fishy, and Jaime would've agreed. but there was little else to do but try get what it could out of a bad situation, take matters into its own hands...
well, Jaime's hands.
technicality.]

and by trying not to freak out i mean trying not to show the fact that she's really freaking out about the fact that she's carrying her friend's really terribly wounded body to a place where his symbiote can electrocute itself to somehow heal him.
her life, man.
she doesn't land when they get there. instead, she hovers a few inches off the ground once she gets to the front door. it'll be easier to movie the body wherever it needs to go if she doesn't have to take off again. ]

finally, at length, she steps aside, gesturing for kara to enter. ]
I am Danger.
I have offered to aid the artificial intelligence attached to ImPort designate: Jaime Reyes.
Come with me.

How sure are we this is going to work?
[ the question is directed towards danger, but she's really hoping the scarab could somehow miraculously answer as well. dnw her friend dying because this doesn't work. ]

[ it's basically 50/50-- not perfect odds, but better than nothing, especially on such short notice. they were lucky that danger's primary emotional asset (read as: significant other) was really sort of an engineering genius. between the two of them, engineer and robot, they'd built a power source, backed up by the institute's own power grid but otherwise independent of it.
danger leads them down the stairs, in the cool underground beneath the first floor. the power source hummed faintly, some parts glowing with a steady blue light. a cot had been moved down beside it for jaime's body. to scarab: ]
This generator will meet your needs.
Interface with it.

the job being causing an electric discharge from the generator. it wastes no time, well aware of the kryptonian's resilience to such things and, quite frankly, not really caring whether or not the inorganic stranger would suffer; whether she'd suffer a little energy depletion herself was hardly an issue.
the force with which the power is siphoned evens out after an initial burst, causing flickering lights. it's flashy, but brief. the surge causes Jaime's back to arch involuntarily, though there's no sound of protest. or much of anything, really. after all that sound and fury, the body remains as still as it was seconds ago. all the while, Khaji-Da swiftly begins allocating its fresh energy resources to begin some new processes...]
