soft [snakey] warm [snakey] little ball of [scales]
WHO: Cross Marian and Byakuroku
WHERE: Cross's apartment
WHEN: right after Cross got back in town
WARNINGS: UHHH PROBABLY NONE
SUMMARY: there's half a deer in the fridge. that's thoughtful, right??
FORMAT: [ACTION]
[Things had been pretty slow for Byakuroku as soon as Cross had disappeared. Well. Since a little before Cross had disappeared. He'd caught a twelve point buck (please don't ask where he found it in the middle of the city), eaten half of it, stored the rest in Cross's fridge in case he was hungry when he came in, and promptly fallen asleep cocooned in Cross's bed. A scant few hours before Cross reappeared, Byakuroku had woken, rested and invigorated. He could tell that he was on the verge of shedding (life here was slow and he was growing plump in his torpor), but it had yet to pull to the point of cracking. Perhaps he'd have a nice soak later to soften it.
There were snakes clamoring around the windows when he poked his head out of the bedding, and they'd informed him of Cross's absence. Well, that wasn't anything to be worried about, right? He was probably off mating; the scent of spring was heavy in the air, after all.
Byakuroku stretched, and was still stretching in the sunlight when the door finally swung open. Perking up, he rose, snake tail flopped out behind him.]
