DISNEY WORLD
no subject
At nine-thirty Monday morning, Ruka had been doing nothing more extraordinary than walking her dog and wondering if she should stop somewhere for coffee that morning or skip it in favor of going out to lunch. At nine-fifty, she was ordering a drink with two too many flavors. At nine-fifty-nine, she took her first sip.
And, at ten o'clock sharp, she was quite suddenly deposited into blazing sunlight with an accompanying fifteen degree temperature jump. She winced, shielding her good eye with her free hand. It was also a great deal louder than before. She was completely surrounded by a sudden crowd, all in short sleeves and bright colors.
The general area and mood seemed somehow familiar to Ruka, but it wasn't until she looked up to see the towering castle that things snapped into place.
She blinked. Once, twice, lowering her hand.]
What.

Later...
The boats slid onward past endless rows of enthusiastically lifeless animatronic children belting out the virtues of world peace. There was an odd-looking Daffy Duck standing on the prow of the lead boat, gesturing with his arms as though he was conducting
the glorious symphony of waran orchestra instead of entertaining a gaggle of squalling kids and their bored guardians. The Duck's costume seemed to bulge in odd places, ill-fitting and hastily-donned. One might almost think that it had been stolen and that its rightful owner had been clumsily bludgeoned unconscious so that a war criminal could hide out in Disneyworld. This is utter Hell, the Major thought as he did his best to make quacking noises without a German accent. Truly one of the lowest pits I have yet descended into. The charnel stench of London was what it was, the madness of the Eastern Front was what it was. But this! This awful, tuneless warbling along an artificial Styx surrounded by mechanical demons! He had already resolved to track down the descendants of whoever had constructed this wretched ride and visit terrible punishment on them.
As the boats continued onward, the Major took comfort in two things: he would arrange a way out of this eventually, back to his base and his war, and in the meantime, things could hardly grow much worse.
MEANWHILE...
PRESENTLY...

Unfortunately, now they can't and never will, as Bender finds himself at the back of a queue to renew his driving license. He's obviously quite confused at first, still clutching his very first can, but he eventually shrugs and continues drinking. Might as well see where this queue goes.]

His hood was down but at least he still had his parka and cold gun. Which he drew. Within moments. ]

A CRYPT IN GUANAJUATO
Re: A CRYPT IN GUANAJUATO
Well, enough of that. The table he's leaning over vanishes. He just about drops his coffee, stumbling forward onto... stone? And his apartment is suddenly pitch black, musty, and apparently ancient with how stagnant the air is.
He doesn't react right away. Not even a curse (yet).
Just quiet fuming. He was going to kill the Porter. ]

He wakes up facefirst in a snowbank, clad for the weather in his comical scotty dog boxers. Something is not right here. Is it the 89 below Celsius temperature? The penguin shuffling past and honking intermittently? The fact he's not wearing his hat?

She checks the status of her communicator-- and is rewarded with annoying music. Ugh. Well, fine. There are perks to being a high tech alien robot, right? Including the ability to fly. Just gotta fire up the old rocket boosters--
There's a loud wheezing toot of a noise, and confetti sprays everywhere.
Hhhrgggh. Someone is going to be held accountable for all this sabotage when she figures out how to get back. ]
