I'm sorry momma, I never meant to hurt you
WHO: scatty and Edward
WHERE: idk somewhere subtly romantic
WHEN: tonight after sunset
WARNINGS: none?
SUMMARY: It's not a date.
FORMAT: whatever
[ He has a nice, casual outfit on. Dark button-down shirt, trousers, and muted shoes. His ride, on true other hand, was much flashier. A red Volvo in a sleek design, it had been sitting alone at a dealership waiting for an owner. Edward was merely borrowing it.
Traffic laws didn't apply to dead people, and as a vampire, he was exempt. Being a gentleman didn't mean being a saint. He pulled the car up in front of her residence. He gracefully exited the vehicle, striding to the door or whatever. And he knocked, the kind of knock that even Mozart himself would have been envious of in it's musicality. So ordinary it was decidedly extraordinary. ]

Sorry she doesn't notice the fanciness of your knock, just the knock itself. And after waiting an appropriate amount of time, she opens the door, looking pretty smooth and unimpressed by everything. But still somehow happy to see him. It is a very practiced look.]
Welcome back.
I'm trying to go back to his canon roots of ridic prose
You look lovely tonight. [ He extends an arm out to lead her to his disgusting- er, beautiful Volvo. ]
screech
Thank you. [She takes his arm.] So, where are we to go?
Responds gleefully to mating call
I thought perhaps we could start with a visit to the art gallery. [ So what if it was closed? Emmett would be proud of him for his 'carpe diem' attitude he had adored here. ]
let me sing you the song of my people
Which one?
ooh bb
It's only a few moments away. [ At this speed, he mused with a content smile on his face. ]

I'm sure it will be wonderful.

He turns his attention back to the road, gently slowing to turn down an alleyway. It would be rather rude to have his guest flying around the car. ]
I hope you have your seatbelt on. I hear the police are really cracking down on that. [ He doesn't bat an eye at his joke, but his smile does grow larger. He goes across the main road and through another alley. ]

And at the joke... well, she gives one short laugh.]
I know most of the cops on the police force. I doubt they would give someone in a car with me a ticket.

There it is. [ The car slows to a stop on the sidewalk directly in front of the modest-sized gallery. Edward isn't that sneaky about B&Es. He's standing outside of her door before a second passes, holding it open for her. ]
Shall we?

Grass-green eyes inspect the gallery with approval, and it's almost as if she expects him outside her door, because she's getting out immediately after it's opened.]
We shall.

Ladies first. [ He gestures for her to enter. It isn't dangerous, nor are there any dangerous security traps. Perfectly fit for her to enter first. ]
no subject
You're too kind.

The windows were large and captured the moonlight and Light from nearby street lights. He pulled back the beads for her to enter. The artwork wasn't so much good as ... unique, and original. ]

I'm more of a hands-on sort of person.

I'd just rather be out doing something than sitting inside, reading.
