tonight make me unstoppable

WHO: Sirius Black + OPEN
WHERE: Moonybase~!
WHEN: Thursday night, March 26th
WARNINGS: Nah
SUMMARY: Costume. Party.
FORMAT: Whatever you want.

Considering that it had been a total shit week, Sirius debated calling the party off a number of times. In the end, however, he figured a shit week was probably the best reason of all to have a party and get totally plastered so he went ahead and started setting up. For a guy like Sirius, setting up taking the liquor (bottles upon bottles of champagne, plus a bit whiskey and tequila) out of the cabinet and placing it somewhere people could reach it. For anyone under the age of... fifteen he had soda. Willow said she'd be bringing the fondue.

The “costume” requirement he had decided on last minute, and even then figured he wouldn't put one on and laugh at everyone who did, but come to think of it, why should he miss out on the fun? Sirius threw on a crown, wrapped himself in one of those ridiculous faux-fur robes, and put on The Clash. He proceeded to light a cigarette, take a shot or two of whiskey to start, and plop on the couch, waiting for guests.

Quatre nodded at the explanation, certain he wouldn't be eating or drinking anything but water anyway. It was the simple act of being with people, even strangers, that he wanted, instead of a hotel room. Heero was quiet company and Quatre was at least able to rest and heal in silence, but it had begun to grate on him.

"I think I'll just have water," he said finally, glancing at Heero, and then the crowd, thinking. "I don't want to try eating anything here."

"I can get a glass for you," Heero said, moving a bit closer and checking the other's posture, watching for any signs of fatigue. He didn't expect Quatre to tire easily, but it was best to be cautious. He also had the feeling that the other wanted a moment alone--he had grown used to the two of them spending time together, but it didn't mean that they were able to avoid side-effects from the forced confinement.

"Thank you, Heero," he looked over at him as he moved a bit closer. They'd only arrived so fatigue was the last thing on his mind for now, Quatre far more interested in talking to other people. Conversations with Heero were always welcome, but he needed something different from the last week. "You don't have to. I'm sure I can find something."

"It's nothing. I'll go and look," Heero replied, waiting until he received a nod from Quatre before turning and heading toward the table, deciding to start there before going into the kitchen. He'd avoid tap water if he could help it--the events that had occurred from the tainted water source had left him even less willing to trust to the sanitation process than before.
