tonight make me unstoppable
WHO: Sirius Black + OPEN
WHERE: Moonybase~!
WHEN: Thursday night, March 26th
WARNINGS: Nah
SUMMARY: Costume. Party.
FORMAT: Whatever you want.
Considering that it had been a total shit week, Sirius debated calling the party off a number of times. In the end, however, he figured a shit week was probably the best reason of all to have a party and get totally plastered so he went ahead and started setting up. For a guy like Sirius, setting up taking the liquor (bottles upon bottles of champagne, plus a bit whiskey and tequila) out of the cabinet and placing it somewhere people could reach it. For anyone under the age of... fifteen he had soda. Willow said she'd be bringing the fondue.
The “costume” requirement he had decided on last minute, and even then figured he wouldn't put one on and laugh at everyone who did, but come to think of it, why should he miss out on the fun? Sirius threw on a crown, wrapped himself in one of those ridiculous faux-fur robes, and put on The Clash. He proceeded to light a cigarette, take a shot or two of whiskey to start, and plop on the couch, waiting for guests.
[*You guys can just form new threads & talk to people & you know the drill party blah blah anything goes :)]

The unexpected arrival of two other Musketeers had certainly served as distraction enough; he found himself wandering over to the pair of teenagers and upon nearing them, gave an elegant bow. Upon straightening up again, he crossed his arms over his chest, considering the coincidence.
"And here I'd thought that fiction was dead. Tell me, which of you fancies himself d'Artagnan, mm?"

"I do, Sir," Quatre answered, perking slightly at the question, and chancing a glance at Heero, checking to see if perhaps he recognized the man. "A friend recommended the novel to me a few months ago and I suggested the idea for the costumes."

"Aramis, in the service of friends and France." It was hard to pitch his voice lower for too long; he felt his shoulders tensing as he spoke. It was easier when he spoke Japanese, he thought.

So, then. The black-haired boy had chosen to compare himself to a man that had left home in order to become a fighter; a brilliant tactician if there were any, but occasionally proud and hotheaded. (And, Edgeworth thought with no small amount of amusement, someone with several lovers.)
The other had chosen Aramis--another interesting pick. A soldier who wished for nothing more than to give it up, but who had been superbly trained in the art of battle. A cold, planning man who nevertheless cherished (perhaps too much at times) the friends he had made.
Well. He himself was no glutton, no liar, and could care less for the pursuit of women. That left to him, then, the most appropriate choice he could have made.
Edgeworth finally spoke again, tilting his head to one side and chuckling.
"Well met, the both of you. In that case, I suppose you might--for the evening--know me as Athos."
As he glanced back to 'Aramis', Edgeworth felt the nagging sensation that he knew the boy from somewhere. The mask and changed voice made it difficult enough for him to recognize Heero, however, and he simply put the notion away for later examination.

"You did very well on your costume," he remarked, enjoying the work that many people had either put into their costume or that someone else had. Either way, it was work worthy of praise.
