WHO: Kenzi and Kang
WHERE: Kenzi's room at the MAC
WHEN: Not long after this.
WARNINGS: Uh...drunk shenanigans?
SUMMARY: Kenzi's upset about getting a getting hit with a Double Rainbow charm and Kang's curious to see. Also drinking of good ale.
FORMAT: Prose?
Piccolo had left not too long ago and now Kenzi was rushing around her room in an attempt to make it more presentable. Normally she wasn't the type of girl to do regular house keeping. She figure as long as she could walk around without stepping on something it was fine right?
But then guests would come over and she couldn't really have them tripping over all her junk. And while Piccolo had been an unexpected guest she was expecting Kang.
Her dirty clothes were quickly stuffed into the hamper. Her collection of lifted wallets was shoved under her bed. Dirty dishes were put in the sink, where they should have been to begin with. The empty bottles of various drinks were tossed into a box that would from then on be known as the recycling box. She decided to just stack the pizza boxes up near the recycling box. Were pizza boxes even recyclable? They had cheese and sauce stuck to them but she assumed they were.
She took one more quick look around her room to make sure it was presentable. What she wouldn't give to have a Brownie living with her. Once things were clean enough, in her mind, she flopped on the couch and turned on the TV while she waited.

He watched as she took the shot and copied it. It wasn't bad at all, leaving behind a pleasant burn that was reminiscent of dwarf spirits without the aftertaste. "Not nearly as advanced as this one. There are more villages than cities, and none even half as large as this one."
no subject
"I just...the whole fate thing is stupid. I've always been a firm believe of making your own choices and fuck whatever plans other people have made for you." And another shot down.
"Hm...I think I'd go crazy in a place like that. Especially if there's no pizza."
no subject
Laughing, he poured another shot for himself. "It's not that bad, really. There isn't as much convenience, but we appreciate what we do have, and don't take things for granted."
no subject
She gave a slow nod before finally downing her drink. "Yeah, sounds like the kind of place I'd go insane in. Suppose I'm thankful that this place didn't turn out to be something like that. Instead it's closer to home..." Minus her friends.

He made a quiet noise. "I'm entirely lost here. Almost nothing works the way I'm used to, I'm so far behind I don't even know things that children here do, and I'm not even stuck here with people from my world I know or like. No, it's a black dragon, a br- another lord-governor of a nation like me, and someone else that the black dragon seems particularly gleeful about me meeting, for reasons I can only assume aren't good." He muttered a few curses in Nerakese, taking another shot. If only he could at least have his mate with him to help deal with it all and talk to.

She quick knocks back the drink and sighs. "Apparently there's no changing the outcome. We tried and we thought we were in the clear but then... Damn guns."
She sunk into couch and grumbled in Russian before looking over at him. "Well I'm here if you need help with stuff. I mean, hell, I waste most of my day drinking and attempting to get my damn powers under control." That wasn't completely true. She did other stuff but most of it wasn't legal.

"Could you help me pass the test to get a GED? I can't go to one of these colleges unless I have one, and I won't be able to do what I'm best at without a..." he paused trying to think of the word. "A degree."
no subject
"Dude sorry but that's where I gotta draw the line. I cheated by way through school and then I never did the whole college thing. Er...I'm sure there's someone on the network that could help. Maybe someone from that imPort school."
She fell silent, lips pressed together in thought. "Although I could teach you the secret code I came up with for cheat sheets and help you make one. That's the best I can do."

Another shot down and she's starting to sink into the couch, obviously relaxed and comfortable. "Teyr? Is that your home? Because dude, I hate to break it to you but when you leave here you forget everything of this place. Or so I've heard."
no subject
"...we do?" Well, shit. "Yes, Teyr is our nation."
no subject
"Mmmn, yeah. Apparently crazy 'porter lady doesn't like people returning home with any knowledge they collected here. But apparently, if you come back, you usually regain that knowledge."

Kenzi slammed down another shot before rising from the couch. She wobbled for a moment before shaking her head and making her way into the kitchen. She dug around in the freezer for a few moments before returning with a bottle of tequila. This she didn't seem too concerned about pour shots for, instead she took a swig after settling back down on the couch. She cringed and cleared her throat.
"I mean, hell, at this point I'd even welcome Vex into this god damned city."
no subject
He paused, frowning. "Possible death? And who is this Vex person?"
no subject
Kenzi licked her lips and shifted to get more comfortable. "I was stabbed just before being pulled her." the tone in which she spoke was just so casual about it. Like getting stabbed was an every day thing for her. Must be the booze.
"And Vex is a Dark Fae. Complete creep-o with the ability to control people like they're puppets. Which is cool I guess but ugh!" She shuddered. "He just so creepy and gross."
"Actually if I could wish for anyone to be here it'd either be Bo or Hale. Maybe Dyson as long as he's not going to be a dick."
no subject
"Fae?" He guessed. "You seem to be in pretty deep with that group. Not Vex, judging from your earlier comment."
He poured himself another shot of vodka, feeling pleasantly buzzed. "You know some interesting people."
no subject
She took another drink and shifted around again so she was lying down with her knees over the arm of the couch. "Yeah. Hale's a siren which apparently are supposed to be female but he ended up taking after his mother. Thank god because apparently she wasn't a super bitch like the rest of his family. From what he told me she actually liked humans and thought that the Fae would benefit better by living more closely with us." She smiles softly. "I'm really glad he took after her. I don't think we could be as good of friends as we are if he hadn't."
She gave a bit of a nod. "I am. Bo claimed me as her human so I'm allowed to know all the stuff I know and other Fae aren't allowed to do anything to me. Not...that that stops the Dark Fae most of the time."
She sat up and took another drink before flopping back down. It was probably getting close to time for her to put the cap back on the bottle and let it go. Not that she would any time soon. "Dude don't I know it." She gave a little giggle.
no subject
"So it's a form of protection, or at least, it's supposed to be." He glanced down at Kenzi, and then at the tequila bottle with a grin. "I don't think you need to have much more, unless you want a hell of a hangover tomorrow."
no subject
Kenzi looked up at him with a curious look on her face. "Form of protection?" It appeared she's already lost track of the conversation.
She raised the bottle and looked at it before shrugging. "I know the perfect cure for a hango--" She frowned and lowered the bottle. "Oh right...Hale's not here for that."
no subject
He waved a hand. "Don't worry about it. What is this cure?"
no subject
"Oh he can do this whistle thing that can make your head feel better. Works way better than coffee."

She takes one last drink from the bottle before putting the lid on it and dropping it to the floor. Where it would remain out reach until she felt like moving again.
