I'm the hero of the story
WHO: ELECTRO and BABY SPIDER-MAN
WHERE: Manhattan... in a subway and then elsewhere?
WHEN: Thursday afternoon
WARNINGS: Uh?? Maybe violence? Will edit as needed.
SUMMARY: Well, this is awkward.
FORMAT: Quick?
[ The past few days -- weeks, really -- had been difficult on Electro, although he managed not to show it. He usually brushed off stresses like worrying about what he was doing, how to really feel important doing stuff he only halfheartedly believed in, worrying about Parker--
Well, it built up. He headed toward Manhattan from Brooklyn, surfing along a subway rail. It was one of his more obnoxious ways to travel and it shot sparks and lighting every which way, shutting parts of the subway tunnel off and on, but he was in a mood to be obnoxious. And maybe to find an ATM. As long as people stayed relatively clear of the tunnel they should have been fine, anyway. ]

Miles therefore didn't hesitate long before stepping out onto the rails to see what was happening, and only really regretted the decision when he realized that the strange, single light coming fast at him was wild and bright lighting.
Of course, in typical Miles fashion, he just kinda froze like a deer in the headlights. ] Holy- what the heck?!
no subject
What the hell? Kid, what do you think you're doing?
no subject
[ Miles takes a nervous step back when Electro explodes in light (even more), and he hits his heel on the raised subway rails, tripping and falling onto his ass, as well. ] I, uh.
[ Actually, this guy looks really familiar. As much as he can to a bullet-riddled naked dude, anyway. ] Are-- are you related to Electro or something?

Uh- m-me? I've just been, uh, s-standing there when Nick Fury shot you a bunch of times?
no subject
[ Even though Living Lightning's a hero. Electro narrows his eyes. ]
What the hell is the point of having two Spider-Mans?
no subject
And there- there aren't two Spider-Man...s. I mean. Not at home. Here there's like... three.
no subject
[ Everything is about 5-degrees-or-less-to-Nick-Fury where he's from, though. ]
Seriously, who the hell are you? And how old are you, like, ten? I've got no problem fighting kids if I've got to.
no subject
[ Miles is pretty grateful for that tbh. ]
I'm not ten! I'm like. Th- thirty? [ You're convinced now, yes? ]
no subject
[ N O P E. ]
So you're not from the same place as the other Spider-Man.
no subject
[ He crosses his arms defensively. ]
Yeah, I mean, I'm not. And I'm not ten.
no subject
[ His hands are still at his sides, ready. ]
Now get out of my way. I got plans.
no subject
[ Miles tenses too, though. And sort of doesn't budge. ]
What- what kind of plans?
no subject
[ He moves, sparks buzzing from his fingertips. "Busting open ATMs" usually gets only one reaction. ]
What's it to you, Webs Jr.?
no subject
[ His heart-rate ratchets up at that, and he takes a step back before remembering himself and taking another one forward. With as much bravado as he can muster while his own fingers are clenching and unclenching nervously. ]
You're- uh, you're a Spider-Man villain and I'm Spider-Man. Do the math.
no subject
[ Electro smirks a little. While he's enjoyed the peace that comes with not having Spider-Man on his back every week or so, he can't deny he's missed the satisfaction. He amps up the voltage slightly, hands disappearing in an envelope of blue sparks. ]
Huh?
no subject
Because he's thirteen and that's not how he thinks this works. ] Yeah well I- I beat the Electro from my world, I can beat you too.
no subject
[ So, Electro is going to hurl a big ol' ball of lightning over. ]
no subject
Don't do that!!
[ Miles Morales: genius quipper. ]
no subject
[ Miles vanishing throws him off, causing him to blindly hurl electricity around the tunnel; every time it bounces off a subway rail the lights flicker again, until finally several bulbs burst. ]
Where the hell did--
[ And if tackled, sparks are fucking flying everywhere as he falls backwards. ]
