Couldn't say he expected that answer. His eyes narrowed, a the slightest hint of disapproval crossing over his expression. The fact that he couldn't make this woman react to anything he did was driving him up a wall. His index finger tapped on the trigger lightly, irritably even. The safety was on, so naturally it wouldn't go off yet, but chances were it wouldn't stay that way for long.
"Pain's great," he blurted sarcastically. He obviously didn't want to pursue any small-talk with her. "Just dandy. I haven't felt like this in awhile. See, back at home-sweet-home, I was havin' a little trouble doin' what I do best. Now? It's a buffet, and a fucking ball at that, and I got no goddamn migraine makin' it worse, thanks to you." He let out a faint snicker, his gaze narrowing. "Yeeeep. All this. Thanks to you."
