For whatever reason, midway through his ramble, her eyes narrowed, the air around her feeling somewhat colder if for no other reason than the slight bit of rage that had now implanted itself into her mind. An obvious overreaction to something for anyone who was able to see her.
"You have no idea who you are even dealing with!" she took one step into him, pressing herself against him for a moment to cause him to step backward. "There are certain individuals I will not see you harm in this city, and who, if you even consider touching them, I fear for your very soul."

A hint of red flashed across her face - a brief threatening of four eyes instead of two glowing in the night as she took another step into him. "I refuse to be insulted by the likes of a pitiful human who gets off on the poured blood of innocents and heroes. I have bigger fish to fry - bigger forces at play here. However I will not hesitate to kill you---"
A pause as she lifted herself up to come a mere inch from his face, hissing out her words with a demonic inflection, "--- if you touch those I have put my claim on. And I will enjoy watching your lifeless carcass slowly ooze out the very blood that had given you your life."
