all we care about is
WHO: Tony Stark & Selina Kyle
WHERE: A fancy bar for fancy people.
WHEN: Backdated! Like uhhh... 8/3?
WARNINGS: Swag ratings off the chart.
SUMMARY: Selina "interviews" for a job as a security contractor.
FORMAT: Brack...ets....
[ The "job" was already as good as hers, both of them knew that. There was a bit of irony to it, the fact that her experience could make her a very legitimate, very skilled security consultant. Of course, that's not her plan, and she gets the feeling that he already knows. It's a bit difficult to gauge, when she's not exactly sure what her "old self" got into, but the position offered is too specific to think otherwise.
So this means that she might have to worry about being watched, and not in the way she likes to be watched. It may be unavoidable, but she's hoping she can convince her new boss to relax a bit.
She's early, perched at the bar with her fingers curled around a drink she hasn't touched while listening to the strains of jazz piano that drift through the air. ]

Selina, it's been too long.

Mr Stark. [ She turns gracefully in her seat, extending a hand towards him. ] Thank you for meeting me.
no subject
Of course. It's always my pleasure. I see you already have a drink, or I'd offer.
no subject
Oh, this? [ She slides it away from her, without even casting a glance towards the now forlorn looking gentleman further down the bar. ] It doesn't suit my tastes.
no subject
[ He slides into the seat, leaving his bottle unopened, reaching up to rub a hand against the back of his neck. ]
It seems like you're getting right back in the swing of things, huh?
no subject
[ Even when she shrugs it appears elegant. She eyes up the bottle he's brought, giving a minuscule nod of approval before waving the bartender over to take care of that. ]
It's in my nature, memories or not.

So, shall we get down to business, or do you prefer banter?

Now, what you and I had before was something of an arrangement. You try and get through my security, and find any holes, and I pay you a pretty nice sum, as well as quite a bit for each flaw in my security, and believe me, my security is very good.
no subject
That sounds like quite the arrangement.
[ She swirls the contents of her glass with disinterest, stalling as though to impress upon him that she's taking her time to consider it. In reality, she's thinking more along the lines of just those security holes (that's sure she will find) could lead her to, and more importantly, what that itself could be worth. ]
I'm hard pressed to turn you down, Mr Stark.

Mind, my systems have already been looked through by you already, so if you can find something, I'll be impressed.

[ She flashes a very come and get me grin, finally pausing to tend to her drink. She finds it (unsurprisingly) quite to her tastes. ]
You'll forgive me for saying so, but you seem a bit... tired?
no subject
It was a particularly long day at the office, though, I'll admit.
no subject
[ She watches the way his gaze darts away, lifting her brows and pursing her lips. ]
Maybe you just need to relax a little.
no subject
You're not offering to help me with that, are you?
no subject
[ She shrugs, seeming non committal, taking note of his choice in drink. ]
I'm good at relaxing.
no subject
I won't lie, I'm interested to know how you would suggest relaxing.
no subject
Use your imagination.
no subject
I have a wild imagination.
no subject
I hope that's not supposed to intimidate me.

Now really? Gorgeous, you may be enticing me to get away from this place altogether.
