SUMMARY: Vulcanus tries to blow up a collection of buses around the City in order to incite anti-imPort rioting; Lachesis mixes things up again. see here for details.

Each bus will have a labeled thread in the comments. To recap:

Bus W will explode. Lachesis will teleport these ImPorts to a location near the bus just after it explodes. Those who are assigned to this bus, you must be the heroes that the City demands. The damage will carve a hole in the street, and civilians are at risk for debris/fires/etc.

Bus X will yank imPorts inside of it and induce a week-long power switch. From 8/21 at 12 PM to the following Tuesday, 8/28 at 12 PM, characters will have their powers switched with another ImPort passenger. All characters on this bus have their new powers assigned.
Correction: this bus is located in Brooklyn.

Bus Y will yank imPorts inside of it for one minute, and then transport its imPorts to the demon dimension until midnight. Envision Dante's Inferno as the setting, but with the twist that ANYTHING CHARACTERS IMAGINE WILL MANIFEST IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE.

Bus Z will yank imPorts inside of it for one minute, and then with a LOUD SCREECHING NOISE, it will infect imPort minds with radio signals, songs, dialogue, AND IMPORTANT PLOT-RELATED INFORMATION THAT VULCANUS DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW for the rest of that day. There is no way to turn this off for the entire day. ImPorts will be returned to their prior locations at the end of one minute. All characters on this bus have their unique mental broadcasts assigned.

[ Someone else could handle the dangerous temperatures too, using her telepathy to guide her towards the next victim to be rescued, tearing aside wreckage as she searched the remains of the bus. The ones outside the bus she left to the people who didn't have her abilities.

Iron Man was worth having in there, and she caught sight of him as she flew someone out of the danger zone to place them down, slipping them out of consciousness with a touch of her mind. (The victim was 60% burns, he might as well sleep through this.) ]

Stark, there.

[ She snapped it at the suit, not even noticing Tony himself to the side as she pointed at a splintering pile of wreckage. ]

Three people are under it, the balance is difficult.

[ A two person job, essentially. ]

[ The suit's head snapped up, and with a quick burst, it was over there and working to grab one end for Monet to grab the other. ]

Ready? [ The suit asked, just like Tony's own Iron Man voice with no changes. ]

They're alive, but the quicker we get them out of there, the better. Their vitals are starting to go erratic.

[ She grabbed the other end, looking over to make sure he was ready. ]

I can feel them, yes. On three. [ No pause to make sure he's not arguing that, because this is Monet she assumes nobody's going to argue with her. ] One, two, three.

[ HE lifts on cue, not even making a comment about it. There were times to play the leader, but right now, it was time to help people, he and Monet both knew it. As soon as it was up, he took control of the block, indicating to Monet to let go, before he set it aside. ]

Get one of them, I'll get the other two.

[ And of course, there was Tony Stark himself, not in the suit, already picking up the medium sized one, leaving the heaviest for either Monet or his suit. ]

[ She let him take the block, stooping to lift the first person she saw - and standing up to see Tony. Her gaze flicks between Tony and the suit, one eyebrow raised, but she lets it pass without a comment. This isn't a time for questions. ]

Good.

[ And that's the extent of her encouragement or thanks as she carries her victim over to the paramedics. ]

[ As soon as the block's set aside, the suit grabs the last one, and brings it over to match Tony and Monet's passengers. Tony himself flashes her the briefest, faintest little quirk of his lips after his victim is dropped off, he holds his head up to take a look into their eyes and make sure they're okay. Then the suit brings the last one, and Tony checks on that one too. ]

Are you picking up anyone else, gorgeous?

[ She checks hers by mind, not particularly a medic by any means but able to ascertain that they seem relatively conscious and not in pain for the moment, and then stands, glancing at him. ]

Until the victims are with the medics. Then I'm going to inspect the bus.

Hm. [ He looks them over one more moment, before he turns to indicate the bus. ]

Not a bad idea. There might be something there. I'll stay with them, I think the suit will work better in those conditions. [ The suit, of course, is pretty much Tony anyway, it even makes a ladies first motion. ]

I'd like more an explanation than who knows.

[ She takes that, walking off quickly towards the bus in determination, floating up a little above it as she gets close to take a good hard look and see where to start. ] You have experience with explosives.

Enough, yes. I'm more of a diffusion type of person, but let's see if we can't figure out where the explosion centered, and we can go from there.

[ He's looking for heat signatures, damage indicators, everything that he could possibly find to pull together data to find the apex of the blast, where it would have centered. ]

The problem with finding the epicenter is that it's going to be the most damaged part, as in likely blown to particles, depending on the power of the blast.

[ She folds her arms, waiting for him to work his magic. If he can do this easily, she'll let him. He's the one with experience in it. It's moments like this that make her want her old team here. If they had Longshot here, he could work his magic if they were able to find part of the bomb. (And with him there, they probably would be able to.) ]

We'll find a way to learn something from it.
