SUMMARY: Vulcanus tries to blow up a collection of buses around the City in order to incite anti-imPort rioting; Lachesis mixes things up again. see here for details.

Each bus will have a labeled thread in the comments. To recap:

Bus W will explode. Lachesis will teleport these ImPorts to a location near the bus just after it explodes. Those who are assigned to this bus, you must be the heroes that the City demands. The damage will carve a hole in the street, and civilians are at risk for debris/fires/etc.

Bus X will yank imPorts inside of it and induce a week-long power switch. From 8/21 at 12 PM to the following Tuesday, 8/28 at 12 PM, characters will have their powers switched with another ImPort passenger. All characters on this bus have their new powers assigned.
Correction: this bus is located in Brooklyn.

Bus Y will yank imPorts inside of it for one minute, and then transport its imPorts to the demon dimension until midnight. Envision Dante's Inferno as the setting, but with the twist that ANYTHING CHARACTERS IMAGINE WILL MANIFEST IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE.

Bus Z will yank imPorts inside of it for one minute, and then with a LOUD SCREECHING NOISE, it will infect imPort minds with radio signals, songs, dialogue, AND IMPORTANT PLOT-RELATED INFORMATION THAT VULCANUS DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW for the rest of that day. There is no way to turn this off for the entire day. ImPorts will be returned to their prior locations at the end of one minute. All characters on this bus have their unique mental broadcasts assigned.

[His eyes widen slightly when he sees the earth launch the man far into the distance, almost out of seeing range. Well if nothing else that made it much more clear that this person was a fighter at least. He didn't have to worry about protecting her at least which was good. Because he wasn't sure if he could handle the remaining Equalist without at least a little help. At least not without his suit. He starts to back up at they close in, getting closer to Lin, but not taking his eye off of them.]

Are you okay...? Can you stand?

[She grunts as she stands up. Her right arm throbs, and she holds it almost unconsciously.]

Arm feels broken, but I'm fine. Try to keep them off my right side.

[And with that, she stomps the ground, causing a pillar of rock to shoot up. With a quick punch, she sends it flying into one of the approaching Equalists.]

That, I can do.

[Now see, unfortunately T'challa unfortunately sucks at the whole having awesome powers thing. But he IS a great hand-to-hand combatant at least. Which is obvious when an Equalist rushes him and he grabs his arm and throws him over his shoulder before kicking another. Not to say any of it is easy as these guys are obviously experienced.]

I take it you and these men aren't exactly on the best of terms back home. [You know. With the whole them trying to break your arm and possibly kill you thing.]

They're not fans of any kind of bender.

[He's obviously skilled, and she's known enough exceptional non-benders to know not to take them lightly. But she doesn't have too much time to observe his skills, as there's another Equalist that is getting a boulder to the face.]

Bender...

[With these men he can't afford have them getting back up. Especially since they're the equivalent of mere illusions in his mind. Which is why nearly every hit he lands is a kill shot. He's not bothering with having any restraint.]

Is "bending" what they call what you're doing with the rocks? [He's just speculating!]

Yeah. Earthbending.

[Lin is just focused on keeping the stun batons and electic gloves away from her, since electricity plus her metal armor tends to equal bad things. She lassos one with her metal cable and proceeds to slam him into several other Equalists. Her arm is really starting to hurt, but she tries to ignore it.]

The masked guy was a bloodbender. If he comes back... just make sure he doesn't get you too.

[He was managing to barely escape by without getting hit by the stun batons, but only because he was aiming to kill instead of holding back. Even without his suit, and unarmed he knew dozens of quick and precise ways to kill a man. And he was making sure to utilize nearly all of them. Not to say his movements weren't getting sloppy. This wasn't the first battle he had been in since arriving. At least the number of Equalists were starting to thin some.]

My survival in a second round against him would depend on if he is actually stupid enough to fall for the same trick twice. [Though there is something he's curious about.] If he has the ability to "bloodbend" couldn't he have killed you in an instant? Why didn't he?

He doesn't want to kill me. He wants to take my bending away.

[The last part comes out especially venomous, and it's clear that she's had some bad experiences with him in the past. One of the electric batons nearly strikes her as she's talking, but she manages to knock the Equalist away with a quick spray of dirt.]

Ah. I see.

[He really has more questions than that. But he doesn't want to pry. Especially not while they're fighting a dozen or so trained fighters. Fighters that will likely take them a decent bit of time to get through. But eventually they will. He'll put down the last guy and kick him to the side. He has bruises and wounds from the fight but no serious injuries.]
