Too lazy to pull up a log title
WHO: Davesprite and YOU
WHERE: Import clinic.
WHEN: All day post-void shenanigans
WARNINGS: Injuries, talk of nightmares and death of family
SUMMARY: Davesprite endures injuries from being caught by surprise -- and also deals with all of the nightmares from it henceforth.
FORMAT: Pick one! Just specify a day & time.
[Davesprite had fallen asleep after he had pushed Feferi off of him -- not that he had much choice in the matter. Really, it had been more of a faint than a choice of sleep. Combined with the exhaustion and his concussion, he couldn't keep himself conscious. Thankfully, with his wings mostly mended, it was easier for the nurses to lift him onto a stretcher and drag him to a bed. They continued to have trouble stuffing him in one bed, so anyone who happens to poke their head inside will find him spread out along three different beds in sprite form, fast asleep.
Of course, the second someone happens to step in the room, his eyes will snap open, and he will reach for his sunglasses off the table to slip them on. The only thing he won't do is sit up, or acknowledge whoever had come in. At least not right away -- he'll wait to see who's bothering to come in and hassle him. Hopefully it was a nurse, and not somebody who knew him.
The second he would open his eyes, he would feel dizzy and be forced to shut them again. When his eyes were closed, he would see all those nightmares that the void had forced him to relive. All things considered, he couldn't win no matter what he decided to do, eyes opened or closed.]

She lowers her spoon and glances over at him before dropping her gaze to the cup in her hand.]
I felt John and Kanaya in the same area as that thing that attack you. I'm sure they'll be okay but I'm still worried... And then there's the fact that you got hurt like you did. And I can tell you're upset and I want to help but I don't know how.
[On top it all there was everything that happened the night she came in and several of her friends had been hurt by that. And the fact that she had been here a year and didn't remember any of it.
She sighs and slumps forward a bit. She blinks a few times to keep herself from crying.]

[He sits up a little too fast, but it doesn't show outwardly aside from a small wobble as he loses his balance.]
Upset? No. Totally not upset. Kosher. Cool. Fly. Whatever you wanna call it.
[He hesitates for a second and then reaches over to poke her chin so she's forced to look up at him and his light little frown.]
You gotta go out and find Senor Sergeant Egderp.

They're fine now. [And by fine she means out of danger as far as she can tell.] You've been out long enough for everything to be settled? Mostly settled, I guess. At the very least that thing is just gone. I think it's dead.
