Too lazy to pull up a log title
WHO: Davesprite and YOU
WHERE: Import clinic.
WHEN: All day post-void shenanigans
WARNINGS: Injuries, talk of nightmares and death of family
SUMMARY: Davesprite endures injuries from being caught by surprise -- and also deals with all of the nightmares from it henceforth.
FORMAT: Pick one! Just specify a day & time.
[Davesprite had fallen asleep after he had pushed Feferi off of him -- not that he had much choice in the matter. Really, it had been more of a faint than a choice of sleep. Combined with the exhaustion and his concussion, he couldn't keep himself conscious. Thankfully, with his wings mostly mended, it was easier for the nurses to lift him onto a stretcher and drag him to a bed. They continued to have trouble stuffing him in one bed, so anyone who happens to poke their head inside will find him spread out along three different beds in sprite form, fast asleep.
Of course, the second someone happens to step in the room, his eyes will snap open, and he will reach for his sunglasses off the table to slip them on. The only thing he won't do is sit up, or acknowledge whoever had come in. At least not right away -- he'll wait to see who's bothering to come in and hassle him. Hopefully it was a nurse, and not somebody who knew him.
The second he would open his eyes, he would feel dizzy and be forced to shut them again. When his eyes were closed, he would see all those nightmares that the void had forced him to relive. All things considered, he couldn't win no matter what he decided to do, eyes opened or closed.]

He gives Davesprite and uncertain look at the comment about worms. He doesn't know a lot about crows, but he googled them once out of boredom, so he knows that crows eat dead rotting animals instead of worms. He's hoping Davesprite doesn't start chowing down on rotting bodies, because that would be pretty damn gross, and it's bad enough that they are forced to be around Gamzee and his corpse breath sometimes, he didn't want Davesprite to have corpse breath too.
He actually hung around Davesprite by choice.
He looks even more uncertain when Davesprite tells him to scratch his back for him. ]
Gross. Am I going to get feathers all over my hand if I do?

But what they are going to talk about is how much of a weenie John is being. Davesprite gives him the flattest look possible.]
Sure are. The feather cooties are going to infect your very being. Soon you'll be sprouting them yourself. Its an epidemic, you may as well embrace it now before its too late.

Also John's giving him a pretty flat look back. It's a motherfucking stare off, because John still thinks touching your friend's shedding feathers is gross. It's like your friend asks you to brush their hair, only giant hair clumps come out in your hand when you do. What's not nasty about that? ]

Plus, it'll be worth it to hear John squeal like a little girl once he's covered in orange. He shifts and adjusts his pillows to flip himself over, skillfully managing to adjust his wing so he doesn't manage to hit John in the head when it does it.]

[ That is hardly being bossy. Though okay, technically he told him to do two things. But Dave only actually did one of those two things, so "shut up" doesn't count when Davesprite can't even follow simple instructions.
Mostly he just wanted Dave to stop with his stupid "Dave joking" before he got started. The Daves could be really annoying when they started with their rambling lines of Dave jokes, and they didn't seem to really know how to stop themselves.
Also he's not going to squeal like a girl because of feathers! Davesprite is stupid for thinking that.
Either way John is maneuvering himself around on the foot of the bed so he can sit up on his knees and crawl forward before squinting down at Davesprite's back.
Did he... mean scratch the ruff part or...? ]
Erhm... what part am I supposed to be scratching?
