There are extensive tables for hor d'oeuvres, small desserts, and champagne as well as an open bar. Room for dancing is obvious, flanked by a small group of musicians. And there are alcoves for the shy, the hiding, the amorous, the machinating, or the creeper lurking.

"I swear at times, I wonder if you are not secretly sided with them, given the words that are spoken to me." she grimaces up at him for a moment, "But yes, for lack of a better term, you are 'Castiel-ing'."

She sighed through her nose, bringing her flute up once more but pausing short of a drink.
"Please, if I happen to see Castiel here, I will be the first to speak with him - he has no choice in the matter."

"I see." Now it was his turn to smirk. "So then I must keep close watch on you."

He offered her his arm, because he was a horrible man who found that kind of thing entertaining, i.e. seeing how far he could push her sense of obligation toward him as his assistant. Which he'd planned on doing from the start, but not exactly in this manner.
