SUMMARY: Davesprite decided he wanted to go to a strip club, and Vriska and Nill decided they wanted to go to a regular club. The clubs are at different times so if you want characters to go to both, go for it!

[ Tavros doesn't recognize her at first, so as she approaches with that smile he sort of assumes she's looking at someone else next to or behind him. but then he starts to get the impression that maybe she isn't so he blinks once or twice and grins awkwardly back. a pretty, unfamiliar girl at the club is gonna talk to him? what is this sorcery???

but right as he's getting ready to say something he spies the wings and recognition lights on his face. that's right, it was the girl he thought might be a fairy or something! ]

Uh, hey! Nill, right?

[niveous]

[Sadly, Nill is spared one of his pick-up lines, amirite? Anyway, she nods happily when he gets her name right. She really liked Tavros--he was sweet and unassuming in a way that reminded her of herself when she'd first arrived. She wondered if aging had changed that.

From the pauses in his speech, she doesn't think it has. Which is nice.

Nill gestures to her throat and shakes her head. I cannot speak. She then offers him her hand with no further explanation because it's sort of hard to say, Hey I'm going to "talk" in your head if that's okay without a pen and some paper.]

[uhhh]

[ he doesn't quite understand what's going on here, there's a questioning look and a faint tilt of his head (emphasis on "faint" because much more might make him clock some guy next to him in the head). maybe she wants to take him somewhere? or to shake, which he's come to understand as a standard human greeting. whatever the case, he takes the offered hand with faint, confused smile. ]

[niveous]

[Nill expects the confusion, and doesn't let it bother her. Tavros is nice, she doesn't think he'll mind her talking in his head. And if he does, she'll probably find out really fast. She is prepared for that, at least. She pauses for a moment before "speaking;" her voice in his head sounds however he might subconsciously decide to imagine it.]

Hello Tavros.

[uhhh]

[ it does surprise him a little, at first, but he reacts far less strongly to it than the average person might. hearing voices in his head isn't weird at all, between the creepy whispers that the lowbloods all hear and all the animals he talks to. in fact, he's quick to respond, and in quite a natural way. ]

Oh wow, hello. Is this some form of, communing that you're doing?

[niveous]

[Oh! Well this is a nice change. But hearing him in her head--well, she hasn't actually ever had anyone reciprocate the thought-speech thing she does. She knows it isn't her power, so it must be his. That is incredibly cool. Nill grins, wings fluttering behind her happily.]

Yes! I cannot talk with my voice so I do it like this. I hope that is okay.

[uhhh]

That's, perfectly okay with me. I talk to animals and other creatures like this all the time, so, it's not really a new thing.

[ he smiles and looks down at their hands—she must need the contact to establish the connection, otherwise she might have done it already. ]

Well, for talking with, other people it is new... I didn't think it would work, on something that's not, an animal.

[niveous]

[Nill doesn't even register that hand-holding might seem like more than something casual to a lot of people. She definitely doesn't register that in a club it looks like a lot more than it is. Nill is just blissfully oblivious. A small smile crosses her lips and she gestures with her free hand to her back.]

Well I am sort of part bird so I guess it works.

[uhhh]

Ohh... well, that definitely explains a lot. I was wondering if that was, an animal thing or if maybe you were a fairy.

[ kind of disappointed she isn't a fairy tbh. but being part bird means he can commune with her! so that's always a plus. now he has two bird friends to talk to in their brains without permission. ]

[niveous]

[Except Nill doesn't mind it as much as the other bird person, who shall remain nameless from about twenty minutes into the future until next month. Anyway, she gives a relatively happy nod. She is pretty okay with being part bird, even if it left her mute. Not that she got any cool bird perks, like flying, but it's easy enough to overlook most days.]

I have been called a lot of things but a fairy is new. I cannot say I would mind being one though.

[uhhh]

I really like fairies a lot! So, it would be pretty okay if you were one, except then I guess I wouldn't be able to commune in your head, like this.

[ having to speak is a small price to pay for being around a real-life fairy, even if he is a lot more confident in his head than he is out loud. ]

[niveous]

[A laugh rolls through her mind and into his. She doesn't actually know anything about fairies outside the few fairy tales she's read, but if Tavros likes them, they're probably pretty neat.]

Because fairies are like people right? Well maybe some day one will show up here.

[uhhh]

That would be really cool. But, for now, I also like you the way you are, so that's okay.

[ a smile and a modest shrug. ]

[niveous]

[Tavros you are her favorite person in this moment. She'll need this ego boost later in the evening. But for now she just giggles again, wings flicking behind her back as she smiles widely.]

Thank you Tavros. I like you the way you are too.

[uhhh]

Hehe, thank you.

[ compliments are nice. this is nice. she isn't trying to make him dance or drink or make a public embarrassment of himself, this is the kind of clubbing he can live with. ]

So are you having a lot of fun, at this place?

[Making people do things is not really Nill's style. At least, she doesn't do it consciously. Maybe it's just something about her that makes people act a certain way when they're around her. The blonde nods, and moves to take the vacant seat beside him. She angles herself so that he doesn't have to move too much to continue making eye contact if he wants. This is one of the few times she'll be glad she hardly grew another inch--his horns are far enough above her that she isn't worried about running into them.]

Yes. It is not what I am used to but it is fun in its own way. What about you? [She pauses, and her brow furrows.] You have not been sitting here all night have you?
