WHO: Little!Kang
WHERE: Anywhere in the City
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon/night
WARNINGS: Language, possible violence
SUMMARY: There is a very unhappy young draconian loose
FORMAT: IDC, whatever tagger chooses

Kang had only grudgingly agreed to go with Kenzi to her apartment, waiting for his chance to escape and find a way to get back to the Dragonarmies. Once an opportunity had presented itself, luckily after she'd given him a makeshift kilt out of one of her skirts so he wasn't running around entirely nude anymore, he'd dashed off.

His first order of business had been to figure out if and how he could change to his natural form. Once that had been achieved, he'd felt much more comfortable with observing people and trying to gather information about where he was. He still avoided large crowds, though, and more often than not shied away from anyone that did try to approach him. He was no more than three and a half feet tall, with stubby wings and nubs for horns that hadn't grown in yet on the sides of his head, and his scales shone a very bright bronze in the light.

When he got hungry, he tried to steal food from vendors or people on the street; half the time it was successful, but the other half he left empty-handed. That night, he tried to stave off sleep for as long as possible, but was forced to search for a vacant building.

Evening

Crucible was stretched out atop one a three story tall building in the less populated areas of the city, relaxing in the evening air. Watching the comings and goings of the street below with casual interest, the only hint of his presence was his relatively small snout peering through the illuminated sign he was relaxing behind.

He was content to rest there for the moment, a place that his larger form would have had little chance of resting, without being easily noticed. That is until a particular figure wandered into view, he'd know the glint of bronze anywhere. He had to look again though to believe what he saw, a young draconian? Bozak certainly, Kang? He had seen that many had been transformed into their younger states, just as he himself had. Yet not all appeared to retain their memories.

Cautious, the bronze dragon stretched out form before slowly following him from the rooftops, careful to remain out of sight for the moment.

Crucible followed the draconian for a time, carefully remaining as silent and concealed as a dragon could. Taking his time to consider his next course of action. If Kang had lost his memories, as many others caught by the deaging magic had it seemed Crucible could not let the draconian wander without some form of shelter or oversight, who knows what sort of trouble a young draconian could get into. The brass's certainly got into enough trouble when no one was looking after all.

After a time, he'd decided his course of action, moving a few buildings ahead, one which had a sizable alley way. The street below seeming quite clear of other people with a quick glance over the edge of the building he'd perched on. With a careful leap, Crucible dropped the two stories down to the empty alleyway, muffling his fall as best he could before finally stepping out into the street before the young draconian, close enough that the other would have difficulty in getting away.

"Greetings young one. You are known as Kang, correct?" His greeting held no hint of malice or threat, only a measure of concern, his gaze searching for any hint that the draconian before him remembered anything.

Crucible merely took a step forward as Kang backed away, his posture as non-threatening for a dragon as it could be while retaining that self-same confidence that was ever present as he took in the young draconian's reaction, clearing any doubt from his mind that Kang's memories had been regressed.

"I am known as Crucible, young one. Now tell me, what brings you to an area such as this?" There was little room for question in his tone, one that was more of a command than a question, although there was no malice in it. A tone that he often used with the eight no less, although it was strange to hear it from his younger form.

"How observant," Crucible replied deadpan before narrowing his eyes, holding himself as tall as his current size could, "This is no trick, whether of gods or men of our world. The gods have no presence here."

"Tell me, Kang, what have they told you of metallics,"

Crucible couldn't help but give a snort at both the sight of the little draconian trying to look big and particularly his comment, "This from servants of a god who cannot be trusted herself, the gods have no influence here, neither dark nor light," he shook his head slowly, ironically in many cases the advice was sadly true however.

"Had I meant you harm however, would I not have already?"
