SUMMARY: since eridan spent the entirety of halloween wweepin and eating stale sugar cookies in his basement leah, he and zee throw a belated halloween party!! BAD THINGS HAPPEN.
FORMAT: ANYTHING GOES.

[the house - it's more of a miniature mansion, really, and incredibly creepy - is just far enough from the city's limits to be quiet. sprawling, dark, and eerie; it's kind of like a cross between rose red and dracula's summer home, which is at least half of the reason why it was chosen. maybe two-thirds.

inside the decorations are done up in lush reds and the occasional streaks of violet; the kitchen is full of food and refreshments, the main hall is decked out, the music is pumping, and the hosts will no doubt be more than happy to tell everyone all about how they heard a rumor from a friend of a cousin of the realtor that like a quintuple murder totally happened in the attic or something (or one of them will, at least). rooms beyond the immediate party area (a host of ground level rooms and anything upstairs, basically) haven't exactly been blocked off, but they're also visibly not as touched up and may or may not be haunted.

well, there's a definite risk. the place is creepy as hell.

[the joke just goes over her head because eye and i... yeah...] I wish I had time to get a better costume than this, but I arrived here a week ago.

Oh, so you are a new arrival. I thought so, I didn't recognize you. [Sure, she kinda looks like a couple different trolls she's seen, but none quite match. Eh.

Nibbles one of the secret truffles.] Have you been adjusting alright so far?

Pretty well actually! Though I admit I'm not too used to being... Alive. Again. Undead? I'm not too certain what word is appropriate. [just kinda... shrugs...]

Your eyes are white. [Not actually looking at her!!] So it hasn't been completely undone, at least.

[A pause.] Assuming that you're not wearing contact lenses, and that you are a troll, of course.

[oh gurl ur perspective. she just... continues to smile... does she ever not smile.] Yes, I am. I take it you have experience with us both living and dead? [not that white eyes are particularly unique to her species for the dead. Eh, better to be conversational.]

[She nods, turning a little to actually, you know, talk to winged dead troll face-to-face.] Dead was a one-time thing, but I have my share of experience with living trolls. That's who invited me here, at least.

[shrugs!!] Some are friends.

[Well, that got her interest.] Have you known them for a while?

Over a year. Closer to two now, I think. [Her head lilts a little to the side.] But some don't stay very long at all. It's not uncommon for the same person to leave and come back, over and over, never remembering this place.

I take it you have some experience with this place... If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason for people never remembering? [Needling for information? Even at a party? Never.]

I wouldn't say never remember. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. But I suppose it can depend on a lot of things. Like, if a man comes here when he's thirty, leaves, and comes back when he's twenty-five, he won't remember. Because, it would be impossible, you know? For him to remember things that happened in "his" future. Or if they come from a different "version" of their "world."

[Her shoulders shrug.] And sometimes they just forget, or act completely different, and there's no real reason why.
