WHO: Davesprite and Nill
WHERE: Near The Abandoned Church
WHEN: Backdated to the nineteenth/twenith
WARNINGS: Teenagers being teenagers
SUMMARY: Davesprite's been homeless for a few days and is getting a little desperate.
FORMAT: Brackets

[By the time nightfall had hit, Davesprite found himself bouncing rocks off a trashcan. It had been a long day of naps in the park and trying to keep himself busy, most of which had been complete failures. Thankfully, Dave blended pretty easily when he wasn't in spriteform, so nobody bothered the kid in shades sitting on the porch with his chin propped up on his hand.

He had been taking spriteform to try and stave off the urge to sleep, but since coming to the city, the rules had seemed to change. Sleep was once again a necessary part of his condition, and he was starting to hate it.

Most of his anger at John had faded, but he had no way to return without feeling intensely awkward. So instead, Davesprite would continue to Be The Homeless Kid until further notice.]

[It's about the time he finishes the second marshmallow that she is thoroughly convinced something is up. Of course, him being who he is, she knows he isn't about to tell her outright what it is. So she licks her fingers clean, toes off her shoes, and then scoots over so there's room for him to sit beside her if he wants. And by the way her brows are raised and her head is tilted, she is not about to easily take no for an answer.]

[Well, at least he's looking at her. This is a start. Nill leans back on her hands, watching him. She is more than comfortable with sitting in silence, even if she is actually waiting for him to say something. If he doesn't... she'll have to come up with something else. But that s'more won't last forever. And judging by the company she keeps, Nill has infinite patience.]
