SUMMARY: Damian told Nill she wasn't prepared for war, and she's determined to show him differently.
FORMAT: Quick to start, but do whateva you want.



[The field is huge, without cover, and blanketed in snow. To anyone passing by before ten in the morning, it looks serene and beautiful. But as soon as the clock strikes that special hour, two imports with something to prove take to the field to shake hands and wish each other the best. In what?

Snow war.

Pick your side or make your own side, take prisoners or show no mercy; this is more or less a free-for-all. Who will be victorious? Nobody has a clue. As long as Damian gets whapped in the face by at least one snowball, everything will end up just fine.

Team suggestions are just that: suggestions. If you want your character to defect, start their own team, etc. please feel free! And start any new thread headers you want, these were just some Hallie suggested. Have fun!]

"Oh, it's you," Calvin says. "I guess it figures you would be on Nill's team." Up on his perch, he doesn't have to look up quite as much to talk to Kate's face. It's easier on his neck. "Pretty good? C'mon, you're standing inside of genius! This masterwork deserves to be remembered for generations to come!"

Which was why Calvin had thoroughly video'd it with his communicator after finishing. There was no way he would let little things like inevitable melting get in the way of his posterity.

Right before she had spoken to Calvin, Kate's eyes scanned the proximity for any flammable materials. That's one less thing to worry about; the possibility of Damian and Calvin playing with fire.

"Alright, it's amazing," Kate chuckles softly and seats herself. The con to standing at 5'10" means she's a walking target in open areas. "Happy you got a lot of snow this year?"

Calvin would never defile the purity of snow combat with fire, Kate. Like the poet said, ice will suffice.

"You bet I am!" He leans on the parapet of the snow wall and grins smugly. "Can you believe I had this much to work with this early in December? I guess someone did a good job appeasing the mighty Snow Demons during fall. That's why they blessed us with so much of the packable stuff."

Quite possibly all the fighting and parts of the City blowing up in earlier months. That would certainly appease a few crazy Snow Demons.

"If you need anything from the medical kits, I put them over toward the neutral zone." Kate gestures with her hand, indicating it's just a ways off from them. With little kids playing today, she's got to make sure nobody gets hurt.

"Thanks, but there's no way I'm getting hurt today." Calvin pats the solid icy wall with total confidence. "I'm invincible with this thing on my side. It's still a good thing you brought medical supplies, though. The enemy's going to need them once we get through with them!"

The kid is clearly having way too much fun with this prospect.

Calvin rolls his eyes. "Of course I'm not going to kill them. I can't bask in their humiliation if they're dead, now can I?"

The kid has his priorities straight clearly.

"So are you just neutral, or are you going to help Nill crush her enemies?" He asks.

"I'm on Nill's team," she states. She knows the park well enough, having been in and out of it since her arrival in the City over a year ago. She has a personal advantage over some. "Angie knows you're here?"

"Yeah, she should." Calvin is pretty sure he remembered to mention he was going to be part of a weekend slaughter in the park but he's not a hundred percent so he changes the subject as soon as he can.

"Um, anyway it's great you're on our side! That means you get to be part of the winning team."

Calvin furrows his brow at that. "Well of course I am! Look at the fort we've got on our side!" He thumps the parapet with pride. "And I'm pretty sure we outnumber everyone too. The other side doesn't have a chance, I tell you!"
