[Human inside or not, it's difficult not to resist those animal urges when not quite yourself. Bond catches the scent of some sealy beast fairly quickly (these new and improved senses are over powering, but at least useful) and lumbers over to investigate to find a sea lion. He licks his muzzle instinctively as he plonks himself down next to the other.

His assumption is he's another imPort turned animal, but that doesn't stop James from pointing out: "You look bloody delicious..."]

["A bear." He answers, as smug as a polar bear can be. This grizzly is one of the first animals he hasn't felt the urge to eat, but instead the urge for dominance strikes- hell, that's normal for Bond, bear or not. And yes, he does understand the question, he's just being a dick, but eventually he tags on, "Bond."]

Nah. [ He shakes his head, and squares his shoulders, offering her a wry grin. ]

I figure if anything happens, we can handle it. Besides, it'll give the people who said swimming in winter was crazy a chance to laugh their asses off and say "I told you so."

Ugh, please don't say that.

[ She's got a lot of pride and dignity that she doesn't want anyone stomping on later if this goes awry. ]

Sorry.

[ He, on the other hand, has resigned himself to never having pride or dignity at all. Bradbury shoves his hands into his coat pockets, staring out at the distance. ]

[ "Seriously?" He leans forward to sniff, only to catch himself halfway, because seriously, what the hell is he doing? It's not like he's gonna get a whiff of anything but polar bear, and he draws back, ears twitching furiously.

"Well, shit." ]

[After that, there's really only one person this bear could be, and it makes sense, really.

"This is your fault, you know."]

We have to stop meeting like this. [He flashes her a smile in his very silly old-fashioned bathing suit. Especially considering how deathly pale he is.] Always prepared for the worst, aren't you?

[Spike's got his duster and boots on over one of those old-fashioned stripey suits. It looks very, very silly.]

Who knew people'd be lining up to do this thing. Good on you, mate.

[Spike-Otter makes a few tiny squeaks, attempting to hobble his way through the water away from the giant thing pursuing him. But the wake of the creature drags him under the tide and leaves him helpless.

This is how it ends, ol' Spikey. Who knew.]

[Otter senses being what they were (not that great) he didn't immediately recognize the polar bear. But he took a shot in the dark, he was a blonde. He finds himself washing up on shore before he's ready, seeing several large animals that could eat him up in an instant, but James is the only one he recognizes.

And so he lets out a round of Otter-chatter in his direction, trying to get his attention. This sort of thing happened to James Bond all the time, surely. They were equally matched in the getting of weird shit, surely. And James, of course, had the distinct advantage of being here years longer than Spike himself.

Hopefully he didn't eat him.]

I'm more of a pizza and beer kind of guy. [Covered in pig's blood, he deliberately leaves out.]

[ Awkward silence. ]

See anything interesting?

[ Essentially. ]

Prepared to keep myself from getting sick.

Now!

[And that last barked order is at least enough to get the raccoons to huddle behind her- or it may be the bear. Very possibly the bear. For her part, she gives it a wary look...she's not dumb. She can put two and two together. But just who it was coming to molest her was another story.]

Do I owe you money or something.

[Roy can't help it, it's like this is a game. His newfound nature kicks in and he chases after the little otter, exhaling big fat bubbles as he swims along.]

[A moment later, Roy makes his way back to the shore, bouncing out effortlessly before the lack of water kicks in and he is forced to waddles slowly again. This is disappointing, to say the least

"It's gotta be magic or something. Where's Zatanna? She can fix us!"]

[ Wally closes his eyes while the stranger does his work. In a minute he'll open his eyes and be normal again and then he can go home and curl up under a blanket with some hot cocoa and a bag of marshmallows. Or maybe a peppermint mocha with whipped cream. Mmmm, peppermint mochas.

He opens his eyes and croaks questioningly. "Did it work?"

The sound of his own voice is answer enough and he rolls onto his back and moans.

"Maaaaaaan!" ]

[ Kate watches as long as she can, hopeful that this is going to work. When it ultimately fails, her exasperated grown escapes her as a low and displeased growl. Damn wolf biology.

"What about the water? Is that the source?"

Not that jumping back in had done anything to change her back. But maybe the answer lies somewhere underneath its waves. ]

[Kotetsu-tiger shakes his head, and then distractedly starts licking the water off his paws. "Beats mw," comes the purr. "If we're all animals, it's gonna be hard to figure out how we got like this and how to change back. If we can."

His tail lashes some more, and his brown eyes narrow in Bradbury's direction. "If we're stuck like this, I'm going to bite you."]

[Kotetsu nods and prowls his way over to his pile of clothes, which he kept somewhat organized, and then flops down on top of them. It's a nice place to lay down for a while.

"I'll wait here, then," he purrs. "Make sure everybody else is okay. And, uh...thanks."]

[Roy lets out a snort of warning, though really, he knows he's no match for a polar bear. Not in this fatty body. It would be just his luck to be eaten, wouldn't it.

"Fuck my life."]

Well... yeah.

What's wrong with this? *She tugs at it absently.* When I get in the water I'll turn into a troll anyway so it doesn't really matter.

Well...I mean. I've got my swim trunks on too, but...not even a jacket, right now?

Wait, you're actually going to change into a troll? [ngl he's kind of curious to see that!]

[Having spoken to a number of the other swimmers turned animal, Bight steps over towards the bear in question, wondering just who amongst the divers this one was.]

Quite the situation it seems.

[He comments with a wry smile as he stops before the bear in question, unfazed by by his size and appearance.]

Now which are you I wonder, just communicate normally, I will be able to understand you.
