Where it all happens
WHO: Alastair and Dracula. Yep.
WHERE: Dancitron
WHEN: last Thursday
WARNINGS: not likely
SUMMARY: An extremely belated charity date finally gets carried out
FORMAT: as you please~
The best-laid plans in the City tended to fall victim to the Porter's version of Murphy's Law, which was Alastair's excuse for not being able to make time to make good on the date he had won in the charity auction. It took a while, after being traumatized in water-world, for him to feel like being social again, and even then he kept second-guessing himself. After all, his only real experience with vampires was Spike, and that was enough to ruin anybody's day. But he had paid good money and figured the famed Dracula had donated his time for a good reason, so why not go through with it?
At least he had the run of his own dance club to serve as a social activity. He picked a regular night when the place was likely to be packed but not ridiculous, reserved the VIP lounge for himself, and hung around the entrance to greet his "date." He at least tried to be a little classy, so he dressed simply in tight jeans and a button-down shirt (untucked, of course), looking much more like the owner of the club and less like one of the patrons. He was there on time, nodding to the crowd of pretty, young club-hoppers passing through the doors to get their night started right. Now, if he could just keep from saying something stupid, everything would work out just fine.

So, Dracula arrives five minutes early, slightly more casual than usually; rather than a suit, he's wearing a black sweater and gray pants. ]
Alastair. I hope you don't mind me being early.

No problem. Glad you could make it. Want me to show you around?

[ He waves at the bouncers politely, but in a somewhat dismissing way. Once inside, he stands next to Alastair. ]
I'd love to. Lead the way.

So this is Dancitron. I can't take credit for it, it was built by someone who, uh, isn't here anymore. It got passed down to me when everybody 'ported out. The main bar's right there, and the dance floor...over this way, that leads up to the balcony, and the VIP area. There's another bar back here...
[he's pretty proud of it even if he didn't make it - he's proud of Soundwave's work and it shows]

I know you said you bet you bid on me on a whim rather than for a reason, but I'm a curious creature. What have you heard of me, Alastair?

Not a lot. We did talk once, when people were being extra over-sharing on the comms that one time. Aside from that it's just like...whatever anyone knows from pop culture. I've never seen a vampire movie, even. Growing up, well, we didn't get out much.
