WHO: Islington ([livejournal.com profile] oops_atlantis), Castiel ([livejournal.com profile] of_thursdays), Aziraphale ([livejournal.com profile] not_occult), anyone they choose to drag along
WHERE: a coffee shop
WHEN: backdated to weeks ago when they said they'd meet in relation to this thread
WARNINGS: angel overload, excessive derping
SUMMARY: The angels plan Team Heaven. Derping occurs.
FORMAT: paragraph

Islington is beginning to think that this is a bad idea. After all, it does not know either of them very well, and that Castiel fellow seems— overly enthusiastic. Aziraphale, it is certain, is harmless and probably a bit foppish. Apparently, he lives with someone. Islington suspects that Castiel would not entirely approve of this, and it is not in the mood to watch them quarrel amongst themselves.

Also, one of them is going to notice that it is not exactly the most scrupulous of angels, and some angels seem to object to his methods. It orders its second cup of tea, having come early to get a little reading free of needy cats and moody pianists, and settles back into the novel it is reading (A Tale of Two Cities), which it does not entirely understand, but it can appreciate Dickens's use of language at least.

Aziraphale is nervous. He attempts to tell himself, on his way to the little cafe, that being nervous is incredibly foolish, but, well. People seem wary of this Islington character. Aziraphale likes to trust people's judgment (at least, until they're wrong, at which point he will gently suggest as much and, typically, not be noticed). However, it seems like a polite - er, creature, and Aziraphale is going to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Plus, there will be tea. He does like tea. As he reaches the cafe he notices the lack of one angelic presence in the area and decides it would really not be fair to go in there and start without whoever is running late. (Also, if it is Islington sitting in there which Aziraphale suspects it is, he would feel very awkward sitting there in silence.) He lingers outside the door, instead, feeling not at all socially inept and instead very, er, polite to wait for the individual running late. Yes. Yes, he will go with that.
