SUMMARY: Kenzi told Gil she was going to take him to the zoo...so they're going.

[It's nine in the morning and Kenzi...is running a little late. She gets up early enough, early for her anyway, and gets ready to go. Dresses in a light dress and somewhat sensible, as Kenzi doesn't really do a shoe below a three inch heel, shoes; she's even wearing sunglasses and some sunhat that goes along with her dress like Gil said she should. Her bag has sunscreen, which she's already slathered on, and some water in it for the day. One last check to make sure she had everything that would be needed and she's out the door.

The trip doesn't take long but traffic and everything else keeps her.

At the entrance she catches sight of Gil quickly enough, he really does stand out in a crowd, and rushes over.]

Sorry I'm a little late.

[ He wonders himself about that. They would dampen any seats they sat on and leave a strong scent behind, which is a rather unpleasant thought. ]

We have been here a while now. [ He remarks, surprise in his voice as he looks at his phone which thankfully still works despite the water. ] If you're hungry, you could order something and take it back with you or I can cook something hot.

[wisecracked]

[She can't pass up his cooking.] Ooh, you cooking something sounds great. I can help! [Of course, her way of helping is just watching, as he should know by now.]

Would we be able to take a taxi back in this state?

[ A train ride might take long, but he's not sure he wants the feeling of a hundred eyes boring on his damp figure. ]

[wisecracked]

I...could fly us? [She doesn't expect him to go for it which is part of why she's only just now suggesting it.]

[invoking]

[ Of course his eyes widen at the thought of it. He's not fond of being so high up, but at the same time — ]

— I don't think you could carry me...

[wisecracked]

I might be able to! [She hasn't tried to fly anyone else with her before but she was a lot stronger now than she was a year ago. Surely she could carry him too.]

[invoking]

Don't strain yourself.

[ Never mind carrying him; he doesn't want to see her get hurt in the process. ]

[wisecracked]

Fiiiiiiine. But I doubt a driver is going to let us in their cab. I guess we'll have to brave the train.

[invoking]

Seriously?

[ The thought is horrid, but what can they do? At this point, whining isn't going to do him or Kenzi any good. ]

... Fine.

[wisecracked]

[Kenzi nods, not looking pleased about getting on the train will damp and smelly.] Let's get going. Maybe if we're lucky we'll be dry by the time we get to the station.

[She figures she'll be dry at least, same can't be said for Gil and all his layers.]
