(no subject)

WHO: Weasel and Abby.
WHERE: That hive of scum and villainy, the arcade.
WHEN: Saturday night, 5/23/09.
WARNINGS: Nope.
SUMMARY: Weas takes Abby out for funsies and DDR. Nerdly shenanigans ahoy!
FORMAT: Paragraph.

Weasel lingered outside of the arcade, trying not to look skeevy, as he sucked on an Orange Julius and waited for Abby to arrive.

Melee was right, in a way. Kid needed to get out of the house every so often. But Weaz knew, all too well, that needling and teasing accomplished absolutely zero in the life of a teenager, and was thus playing Awesome Uncle to Abby. The Awesome Uncle who'd let you drive the car, and bum cigarettes, and generally let a kid get away with murder.

Besides, he liked DDR. He sucked at it, but he still liked it.

Abby tended to travel by cloud whenever she could get away with it. But sometimes, the intended time-saver meant "parking" far enough away from crowded places to avoid the anti-mutant sentiment and walking the rest of the way. That sometimes meant being late.

But eventually, a rushed-looking Abby emerged from the crowd of people moving to and from the arcade. She peered around for a familiar face, perking up when she finally spotted Weasel. Immediately, Abby began waving enthusiastically before plodding on over.

"H-Hi." A pause. "Er-- Sorry I'm late."
