Just a nice Sunday in the park... [OPEN]
WHO: Rue, and OPEN.
WHERE: The Park
WHEN: 8/23, late afternoon-ish
WARNINGS: Um, none.
SUMMARY: After failing to find Mytho, Rue goes to the park andsulks rests.
FORMAT: Paragraph.
She couldn't find him. She had gone to the place Duck had told her about, only to find an empty, albeit suspiciously lived in apartment. She had gone everywhere after that, looking for him in every place she could think of, even going so far as to ride in one of those ugly yellow taxi things.
Now, exhausted and frustrated, she sat down under a tree in the park, to rest until she felt like searching again. One by one, a group of crows begins to join, settling into the tree above her head, beady yellow eyes watching her as if waiting for something. She wasn't too happy about their presence, but made no move to shoo them off.
Rue knew that Fakir was with him, that he had hidden him somewhere. Even after being proven time and time again to be useless, the foolish knight still thought he could just take Mytho. No matter, she would find him, and Mytho would return to her of his own free will.
After all, with the Raven's blood, he was hers now.

He looked over at Rue with a smirk. "So nice of you to finally show up, by the way. A little late to the party, are we?"

"You know I had no choice in when I'd come here."

"So its true, you've taken hearts? Why? Father isn't here."
no subject
"Maybe I'll take your heart as well... if you truly love me as you say..." he smirked, running a finger down her chest, resting it over her heart.

Everything...
"Do you want it?" she asked slowly.

He winced slightly as the original prince within him fought to surface, but kept his hold. The strength of the Raven with in Rue made it far easier for him to stay in control.

Trying to push down the bitterness rising in her throat, she forced herself to speak.
"Stop taking those girls' hearts. You don't need them."
He's such a little bitch, poor Rue.
Even though it never satisfied him... the need to feel loved, to cradle those fragile hearts close to him...
He paused, looking back at her with another smirk. "Are you jealous?"

An awful thought crossed her mind. He wasnt'... eating them, was he?

It was a pointless thing to say, she knew. How could her love replace the love of the whole world?

Staying with Rue would be better than staying with one of the girls he had taken the hearts of, but the spiteful part of him wanted to make her feel like he was doing her a favour, agreeing to stay with her.
That tainting blood that made him want to hurt everyone, especially those closest to him...

He was being cruel on purpose, she knew. But it didn't matter. As long as he came back with her in the end, she would be happy.

Poor Rue. To be fair, no amount of love will satisfy him at the moment. :)
