SUMMARY: Kiryu got his butt kicked by Hichigo. But hey, he knows a healer.  One who was nice enough to agree to help him.

Kiryu checked the address again to make sure he was at the right place before pressing the doorbell.  He had to admit, he was grateful Bakura had agreed to heal him, even though Bakura did way too much already.

A small part of him was amused that he didn't question asking for help for Shockwave and did for himself.  That part of him sounded like Jack.  He squashed it.

"Aah-- just a little shaky, that's all!" Bakura said with a small laugh, ducking his head a bit at the ruffle with a small, almost shy smile. "It should pass in a moment!"

"There's no hurry," Kiryu said with a shrug. As if to prove that point, he pulled off his katana and started strapping it to his bike. He didn't really want to leave it out here, especially not after yesterday, but the owners were never too thrilled when he wore it in.

How had he missed THAT before? He stared a moment before catching himself. "Kiryu-kun... a katana?" he asked, curiously. It seemed... out of place, really. After all Kiryu was from his future!

[satisfiedsigner]

Kiryu's expression lit up and softened a little as he nodded, finishing up trying it down. He didn't seem to notice.

"Saitou gave it to me. I've been learning kenjutsu from him." He stood, looking over his work for a moment. "Although I'm not good enough yet."

[shiromadoushi]

"Aah, really? That's awesome!" Bakura smiled before giving a soft laugh. "And probably useful, in this place! Is it hard?"

[satisfiedsigner]

"It'd be useful if I already knew it. Everyone else does." He laughed at the question. "Everything's hard with Saitou involved. But it's fun. And it's easier than learning English."

[shiromadoushi]

"Eh? Everyone does?" Bakura gave a soft laugh. "And I think everything's earlier than learning English," he smiled.

"All right, everyone else that I'd feel like fighting. And then I get my butt kicked."

Kiryu made a slight face, gesturing for Bakura to follow him into the sushi bar. "English is ridiculous. I was ten times happier not trying to learn it."

Bakura covered a soft laugh as he followed. "But you have a bunch of friends who speak Japanese, so you can get away with not using much of it, even here," he pointed out with a smile. "And if you'd like, I can help you with your English if you still need help, I have a lot of practice."
