Take It Easy
WHO: Sam Winchester and OPEN.
WHERE: Some incredibly twee coffee shop that appeals to his repressed inner hipster.
WHEN: Sunday, Sept 20. Noon-ish.
WARNINGS: PG, there's always a chance of mild swearing with Sammy.
SUMMARY: Due to the recent influx of gods in the City, Sam's researching. Yawn.
FORMAT: Quicklog
[ Sam's sitting in a corner booth of a crowded cafe, and he's got the table all to himself. He's clicking away at his laptop with one hand and sipping coffee with another, and occassionally, he grabs one of the books and pages through it rapidly like he's searching for a live grenade before it goes off. Then he finds whatever factoid he needed, marks the page, and goes back to the computer. He could happily be at this for hours and, in fact, has been doing this for days. Only the location ever changes. Feel free to break the monotony. ]

FFF. GIVE ME SOMETHING TO WORK WITH HERE.
He watches her back for awhile, but loses interest because coffee shops attract all kinds. Sam goes back to his computer, but every so often he looks over just to check that she's not going to kill him or whatever, because why is a little kid staring at him? ]
HOW IS SOCIAL INTERACTION FORMED HOW CONVERSATION GET PRAGNENT
and sits down opposite Sam. not creepy at all. NOT CREEPY AT ALL. she pauses, then speaks, her voice flat and childlike.]
Hello.
What you talkin bout Willis.
Uh. Hi? [ He looks around to see if there's anyone else who looks like him that she could possibly think he was. ] Can I help you?

Ai does not sleep, as a general rule, although she is capable. Ai watches. if she sees someone who may be of interest, she watches them especially. with Lucifer gone, this is less of a concern, but she still keeps up, more from habit than anything else. at any rate, she believes she knows his name, though there is always uncertainty.]
Sam Winchester?
[it's a little more subdued than the greeting, but her monotone voice keeps it from really sounding like a question.]
what is THAT
He tilts his head and narrows his eyes at her, scrutinizing a little more, and, yes, his hand goes into his jacket's pocket because there's a flask of holy water in that. Sam's already trying to figure out how to get it in her tea. ]
Yeah. Who are you, exactly? And how did you find me here?
HOW I WISH I KNEW
I was already already here. I noticed you.
[still, she's confident that he cannot hurt her. she sips again, longer this time, without closing her eyes even slightly.]
My name is Ai.
no subject
Yeah, cross this place off the list of places he's ever going to frequent again. Unless he's trying to find her for whatever reason. ]
Ai. Right.
[ He opens the computer to see if any of his notes on the comm types include the name Ai. He doesn't remember it at all. ]
So you thought you had to come over here and talk.
no subject
You are curious about many things.
no subject
[ Although... yeah, it's totally something he would do to a few of the demon-types on the comms. He does not appreciate the proverbial table being turned. ]
You mean the books? They're for a paper I'm doing.
no subject
They are not.
no subject
They are. Norse elements in Tolkien, it's for a lit class.
no subject
What is it that you want to know?
no subject
For starters, why you're talking to me.
no subject
You have an interest in monsters.
no subject
You have an interest in hunters.
no subject
No.
