How could they not go check out the store? It had been all tricked out for Halloween with fascinating spooky doodads. Maybe it would help a little with their own costumes, too.

Metabee was currently inspecting a fake skeleton, prodding at it and humming to himself: "The hip bone's connected to the... Oop. Not anymore." He winced, trying to put back the plastic bone he had snapped off and settling for whistling innocently and kicking it under another display.

"What're you finding, Ikki?" he called, craning his neck to try and spot his friend. "Anything we wanna decorate Autobase with?"

"This is looking pretty cool," Ikki groaned, trying to shove a particularly heavy coffin off its display rack. "I mean, maybe put it somewhere out of the way. I'd say outside Sentinel's room would be cool, yeah."

He patted the wooden lid. Whatever was inside that thing was kind of heavy. Was it a mummy? A vampire?

"Lemme see!" Metabee scrabbled over, lending a hand with Ikki's endeavor to push the coffin. "Do you think this comes with a real vampire?" They had better have some garlic in the house. Assuming it wasn't the sparkly kind of vampire.

"Good idea," he affirmed. "Ooh, I got one too - Sentinel flipped out about you dumping Junior's cage in his room, right? I'm thinking we get some'a those plastic bugs and put 'em all over his door."
